Luxurious Mountaintop Chalet / Cabin in 'The Woods Golf Resort':Access Amenities

Amazing room very large perfect location. Clean. Amazing host. Game room on property and skiing close by. well stocked beautiful home vet clean and just perfect. We were family if 12 ages 2-66. Highly recommend

Our family had a wonderful long weekend in this house! The layout was perfect for our group, providing plenty of space to hang out together. The house was stocked with everything we needed, which was so convenient. We had a mostly rainy weekend but still had plenty to do around the house. We really enjoyed the screen porch to be able to be outside despite the rain. The gas fireplace on the porch was a bit tricky to light. We just couldn't get the hang of it, but it was great when we had it working. The kids had a great time swimming at the sports complex. The stocked pond was also really nice, we had a good time fishing, and everyone caught multiple fish. I'd highly recommend this home!

The chalet was perfect. Had a stocked kitchen. Just loved it scenery was great private back yard. Lots of fleece blankets to stay coozie at night. Really enjoyed the sports center and pool. One day went to Martinsburg about 30 mins away. Enjoyed the Touch of Grace spa there. The next day went to Triple C Outfitters near Berkley Springs also about 30 mins from the Chalet. A great time for our while group.

This cabin is the perfect place for a large group to gather. There are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy in this peaceful corner of the world. The place is stocked with everything one could need. The hosts are truly gracious and invested in having every visit be ideal. The house is clean and well appointed. Can’t say enough about how much we appreciated everything that made our visit so wonderful!

The hosts have been amazing and respond quickly to any messages or questions. The cabin is immaculate and the kitchen is stocked with anything you might need. The back deck and view of the woods is so peaceful and the downstairs area with the pool table was perfect for the children to have their own area. This was our 2nd year staying here and it has been the perfect spot for a reunion with our children and grandchildren.

Lovely home, roomy and very suitable for a big family to stay together. The kitchen was pretty well equipped (but I would recommend replacing the large frying pan). The rooms are comfortable, the mattresses are better for those that like softer beds. It was very cold weather when we stayed (20s at night) and we were mostly fine but would be nice if we could have raised the thermostat above 72 on some nights, the bedrooms felt chilly sometimes but we just used all the extra an our own blankets. The owners are super nice and very responsive, answered us within minutes and know their property very well. The sports facilities are nice and not too far and the teenagers especially enjoyed the gym and courts.

We had such a wonderful time spending a week in this cabin! Some highlights include hiking trails very close by, cooking meals in the amazing kitchen, enjoying games with friends in the basement, a fun day out to Berkeley Springs, and time spent with friends relaxing in the cleanest, coziest cabin I've ever stayed at. We hope to return next year!

Host was awesome and available. House has everything you would ever need to enjoy inside and outside.

House was absolutely beautiful, and the views were truly amazing. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were fantastic communicators, ,friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would gladly stay here again!

This was such a beautiful house. There were plenty of rooms for 8 of us women to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed and we especially appreciated the coffee station as all of us ladies love our coffee!! The fireplace and the fire pit were great and the couch and swivel chair in the living room were amazingly comfortable!

The cabin is gorgeous, in a nice wooded spot. There is a great amount of space and a kitchen with just about everything you need to cook nice meals. The covered porch has a nice heater and the fire pit has a good clearing where you can relax by the fire and look at the woods and stars. The beds are very comfortable. The hosts are very accommodating and quick to respond. Had an absolute amazing time and will definitely be returning

The Cabin was beautiful! Lots of room and the neighborhood is fantastic. The development amenities were a lot of fun - pool, pickleball, golf.

This place isn’t just “beautiful luxury cabin in the woods” because even though there are houses nearby, you truly feel like you’re alone as you sit out on the deck, soaking in the peace and quiet. The house itself is beautiful inside, with plenty of space to gather and enjoy. We loved relaxing on the porch, spending time in the main living room, and coming together in the kitchen around the island as we cooked our meals. Every room felt private and quiet, which made for such a relaxing vacation. We took full advantage of the swimming pools, hot tub, and pickleball courts. Quite a few in our family played golf every day, and we enjoyed a wonderful spa experience. We also spent a lovely day exploring Berkeley Springs. Wonderful place to relax and be with family.

This house was as described and quite comfortable. All beds were comfy, great screened in porch. TV, games, pool and airhocky so great for kids.Overall simply lovely. A few minor cons: Dinning table for 6 so eating ALL together was a challenged, 4 stools at the island works. Dishes for 8 yet house sleeps 14so running the dishwasher often, we were 10. 1 towel per person so if you like more pack some. Pool towels not provided plus pool pass upcharge is 7 per person per day.

Our second stay at this wonderful place! It's easy to see that the owners understand the value of unreasonable hospitality for their customers! Extensive thought has went into caring for your stay and that you have the things you need! I like the fact that it feels like home with the same quality of items you'd buy and use yourself. Can't wait to visit again!!!!!

We loved our short stay in June! The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were SO comfy! It is about 25 min. to the closest grocery store and restaurants (other than the restaurant on site which was perfect!) We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived on Wednesday evening and departed on Sunday morning The amenities of the gold course that we partook in were pickle ball and the swimming pool. We visited Berkley Springs, had breakfast at Charlotte's Cafe and visited the park and small shops. We drove to Martinsburg one evening to have dinner at a very nice restaurant located in a golf course. We drove to Harpers Ferry one day and that was very nice to see. Our house was well stocked with everything we needed. The porches were nice relaxing spots. Our grandchildren liked the downstairs game room. The owner was super available to answer any questions we had.

The experience we had at the chalet could not have been better. The chalet has the most comfortable, welcoming vibe I've ever experienced in a rental. From the comfy couches and beds to the well stocked game room and firepit everyone found a favorite spot to relax.The golfers in our group greatly enjoyed playing a different type of course than they were used to (there are not many hills where we live) and the pool/spa people had a great time enjoying the sports center. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, the hosts communicate quickly and ensured our time was fun. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave. The wildlife was plentiful and gave us an authentic West Virginia experience. If you are considering staying here (and can find an open spot) just do it! You will love it.

Great home with many amenities and beautiful views

Our stay was perfect! Natalie and Jason were excellent hosts and responsive to any questions that we had, even helping me locate a bakery ahead of time to order a birthday cake for our daughter. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing fun weekend with family.

The home was beautiful. Loaded with amenities. The cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed at. The beds were very comfortable! They thought of everything you would need if you were away from home. They didn't skimp on the rolls of TP or Paper towels or almost anything else you might need. Highly recommend!

Spent the long weekend with 8 friends at this amazingly comfortable property. All the details have been thought of. Had a power outage due to wind but there were loads of flashlights and the fireplace kept us warm. All had a wonderful time!

Outstanding house and outstanding hosts. The only small this is that there are restrictions noted everywhere, door jams, etc. That said, I don't know what it's like to be the host/owner and if people had previously disrespected my property, I would put up restrictions. It's important to note that these notes didn't inhibit our good time. We will likely rent here again, if they will have us and you can 't go wrong renting this home. Go Eagles!!!

Our stay was perfect! The property offered everything we expected and more. Communication with the owners was very clear and concise. Property was clean and in great condition. We loved that it was decorated for Christmas! That made our family post Christmas getaway that much more special.

Immediately after walking in the door it was instantly how well decorated and well maintained the home was. The aroma just made us say “WOW”, this is going to be a great place to stay. The home was really open for the family to interact and come together for meals as well as during game time. Would recommend this home to anyone wishing to stay in West Virginia.

Wonderful Thanksgiving experience! All conveniences to cook a full Thanksgiving meal. Fabulous Mountain View’s and everything was clean and well organized. Beds were extremely comfortable. Fire places indoors and outdoors were great and the fact that wood was supplied was the absolute best. Hope to visit again!!!!!

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Spacious and comfortable for our six adults and two small children. We prepared dinner every evening and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfy and the fire pit was a big hit. Highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at your home. We were in town for a wedding, and were very happy with the proximity to the event. The only “problem “ we had was that we didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house. It truly is a beautiful property.

Our family time at Toboggan Chalet was everything we expected and so much more. From the very start, communication with the host was superb. Our family group consisted of three members above 80 years old, having 3 bedrooms on one level removed a lot of stress since they have mobility issues. All of the house rules were clear and understandable and we appreciated all the amenities that made their home feel like the ultimate vacation.

My fantasy football league travels to a different location each year for our draft & this year it landed us in Hedgesville, VA. We could have not asked for a better location! Jason and Natalie have an immaculate cabin and it was perfect for all our needs. Very spacious, strong WiFi, well-stocked kitchen, clean beds and bathrooms, and the close proximity to The Woods golf course was ideal.

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. We enjoyed the sports complex, pool and hiking. Spent a lot of time on the screened in porch playing games and hanging out. The cabin was very clean and roomy. Hope to come back again!

Our stay got messed up since the golf course was closed from the storm that went through just before our arrival. No fault of the owner just bad timing. Also the club house caught on fire and ruined our dinner plans for Saturday evening. Luck was not on our side this trip. At least the ladies got their spa treatments. Would definitely return for another shot. Maybe we’ll have better luck.
