From the moment you enter the cabin you are embraced by the warmth of underfloor heating, and greeted by an oversized sofa sat beneath the vaulted ceilings of original Big Bear A-Frame.

Nestled between the two ski resorts of Big Bear Mountain and Summit Mountain, Shou Sugi Ban A-Frame is an elevated offering for a romantic retreat for two or a relaxing retreat for one.

The queen-sized bed invites you to have the best night`s sleep, between linens from which you will wake feeling refreshed and ready to enjoy everything Big Bear has to offer. Wake up to a invigorating rain-shower where the radiant flooring has pre-warmed the bathroom for maximum comfort.

In the winter, come in from a day`s skiing to the log-effect gas fire and luxuriate in the free-standing bath, with a sprinkling of bath salts to boot, whilst watching a movie on the 60 inch TV for the ultimate cinematic experience.

The kitchen is appointed with premium fittings including: a ten function multi-use oven (airfyer, toaster etc included), a dual gas hob for the keen home chef, a dual purpose fridge freezer drawer unit, and Fischer and Paykel dishdrawers for those who would rather have a glass of wine than do the washing up.

Shou Sugi Ban is only a three minute drive to both mountains, getting you straight onto the slopes in the winter. Backing on to the San Bernardino Forest, you are placed in the heart of the emerging destination of Moonridge, with trails to be enjoyed all summer long.

The cabin is located:

- 1 mile to Bear Mountain
- 1.5 miles to Snow Summit
- 2 miles to Big Bear Lake
- 3 blocks to Big Bear Alpine Zoo
- 2 miles to Stanfield Marsh Wildlife and Waterfowl Preserve, a beautiful and scenic walk
- 3 miles to `the Village`, home of shops, eateries and entertainment

The a-frame is suitable for up to two guests looking for the most exclusive romantic experience in Big Bear.
