Stayed Dec 27, 2023We enjoyed our first mountain get away in this comfortable and welcoming cabin. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, game room and warmth of several fireplaces throughout the cabin. Our host Bindu was very helpful and prompt in replying to our questions. It was a wonderful get away!

Stayed Oct 30, 2022We wanted a pleasant mountain retreat to reconnect as a family, but what we found upon arrival was better than we imagined! Peaceful, clean, beautiful, spacious, yet cozy… this property was over the top! Bindu and her team thought of every detail, and went above and beyond to the point that we felt like more than just guests. We had never visited Ellijay/Blue Ridge, but immediately fell in love. It is easily one of the prettiest places we have seen. The town is quaint, the people are friendly, anything we needed was not too far away. Yet, it still was the ideal getaway off the beaten path, perfect for much-needed downtime with our family. We were able to recharge, reconnect, and left wanting more ❤️.

Stayed Oct 5, 2022This is a very cozy cabin with open windows, wrap around screened porch, and fireplaces all over. The game room is great for kids. Lots of beds for a big group! Great host checked in on the stay and helped with questions throughout

Stayed Sep 27, 2022Our kids had a great time at the cabin. There a arcade and table top games I’m the basement. The outdoor jacuzzi and fire pit were great for mom and dad. It’s a fast 15-20 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and about 5-10 minutes to a nearby gas station. Besides that, you’re fairly isolated in the mountains. The entire home was large, best suited for bigger parties. Rain or shine, your family can have a great time at this cabin.

Stayed Sep 15, 2022Pros: Generous covered porch space, nice hot tub, nice fire pit, close to Blue Ridge restaurants and activities, comfortable beds, and no bugs inside. Also, the owner called me personally to chat about our experience and seemed eager to improve on the below issues. Drawbacks: 1) Minimal privacy: there is no public bathroom; you have to go through a bedroom to access every bathroom. Not great for middle-of-the-night usage. And only one bedroom is truly private (access to the bunk bed room and the porch bedroom is only through other bedrooms). The details of the layout were not given in the VRBO listing at the time we booked. As a group of friends - some single, some married - this was uncomfortable and inconvenient. 2) Several items around the house were iffy or broken. Nothing crucial, but overall it was sub-standard for permanent living (taped screen on screen door, tricky or leaking shower handles, mangled oven buttons, one broken floor lamp, etc.) 3) From pictures we expected to be up on a mountain, and one photo is captioned long range mountain views. However, the home is [or feels like it is] at the bottom of mountains, off of a shoddy gravel road with trees crowded all around the home. It had a gloomy, camping-cabin in the woods atmosphere; not always a bad thing, but not what we were looking for. The unscreened decks didn't feel very useful because of the encroaching trees (bugs, little direct sun). 4) Bring some supplemental equipment if you plan to cook for large groups. As is often the case with rentals, the kitchen is technically fully stocked, but equipment is minimal and not in great shape. They provide exactly two oven mitts, the knives are very dull, and the pots and pans are quite small for a group beyond 6 people.
