Stayed Oct 24, 2025We had such a great weekend color tour and absolutely loved using this cozy cabin as our home base! It’s in the perfect spot—close to Higgins and Houghton Lakes, tons of beautiful trails, and just a short drive to Hartwick Pines. The cabin was super clean, comfortable, charming decor, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was friendly and responsive, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We’d definitely book this cabin again!

Stayed Sep 26, 2025The cabin was very clean & pet friendly. I will be booking this property again & will highly recommend. The booking process was very easy, check in was a breeze. The breezeway between the house & the garage made the perfect place to place our dog crates. There was a back door leading directly to the backyard for a quick potty place, especially at night.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025We stayed here twice this summer, and we look forward to coming back in the future! Very clean, easy communication with host, cabin is very up to date and cute. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and we even used the grill one night. Only warning is if you sleep in the upstairs loft it can get a little toasty, so the second time staying there I brought a fan with me.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025Very cute home for long weekend at Higgins Lake. We found it to be very clean. Well equipped kitchen with all the pots, pans and dishes you could need. Loved the open loft space for teenager, the pullout sofa was comfortable. Only thing missing was a BBQ grill, that would've been perfect for the weekend. Very responsive and good communication. Stayed Aug 23, 2024We chose this cabin because our daughter got married at The Barn at Higgins Lake, approx 1/2 mile away. The cabin is very roomy, clean and has a loft area with bedroom, bathroom and sitting area. Our 16 year old loved his “own space”. My mom stayed with us the second night and loved it as well! We couldn’t be happier with our weekend getaway!

The owners put so much thought into practical items such as lots of hooks, blankets, pillows, beach chairs, fully stocked kitchen etc. The beds were very comfortable. Upstairs was great for our 2 older kids. Loft was nice. Neiborhood was quiet. The S higgins lake public beach and Nibbles ice cream shop were just 5 minutes away. We saw lots of deer and will definitely book this property the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
