We had a great winter mountain experience. Host was very helpful with questions and responded quickly.we were able to take advantage of nearby Cataloochee Ski area and and had a warm and very comfortable place to relax afterward. Cabin was clean, well stocked. Our girls loved the loft area and the variety of games. The veiws were amazing from the covered porch.

Cabin is in beautiful location. Furniture is very comfortable. And we got to enjoy a good snow during our stay. Host is very responsive to any questions. This was our third visit to the cabin!

It was wonderful. Everything from the Host to the cabin. It was like the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains. Thank you for letting have just a little time here. We definitely would like to come back.

Outstanding the property is excellent the supplies were just right the pots and pans and of course coffee maker keurig was on point. The couches were apparently new or somewhat new the way they drew us in was what we needed. Would highly recommend.

No, like how VRBO indicates the rates include all fees, but later adds a cleaning fee and a VRBO fee.We weren’t able to get the fireplace to work. Not sure what the problem was.Other than that, all was great

We spent a month at Spoke Wheel and really enjoyed our time there. The porch was cozy and the lighting in the backyard was perfect. The loft upstairs would be perfect for little ones. Checkin/check out was seamless. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for 6 nights with my dog to do hiking in the area. Communication with the owner was great, the check-in and checkout process was easy and clear. The cabin was great, had everything we needed and was clean. Very happy and would stay here again.

We had the best time staying at Spoke Wheel Cabin. The cabin itself was beautiful and very clean with all the amenities you could ever want or need. Our favorite part was having a cup of coffee on the covered porch that overlooks the mountains. Brandon was a wonderful host. We hope to return someday.

This wonderful cabin was beautifully furnished, comfortable, and very clean. It was exactly as pictured. And of course the view was stunning. Our only complaint was the inconvenience of having to visit the dump every day on our way to town to drop off the garbage. We've stayed in other cabins high in the mountains where they hire a private company to pick up the trash at the end of the stay.

The property, cabin, and location were amazing. The host was very responsive and easy tocommunicate with. Location was easy for visiting Bryson City, Sylvia and our favorite hikes in Cherokee. Cabin was extremely comfortable.

We booked another cabins for the long weekend and the weather made it where we couldn’t get that high into the mountains without 4x4. Brandon communicated Very well and had this property available and we stayed there. It was A very nice cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was nice and the property was very well maintained and clean.

We stayed in this charming cabin for our first family ski trip, and loved everything about it. It was so inviting inside, and the perfect set up for our family of four. The kids loved having their own loft with TV. It was secluded and quiet, and we were treated to the prettiest snowfall. The cabin had two sleds which we all enjoyed. But the thing we appreciated the most was host Brandon’s communication and concern about the weather and our wellbeing. (We have a 2WD vehicle and don’t get snow where we’re from, and he reached out before our trip and during, and answered questions very promptly.) We hope to make coming to this cabin an annual tradition.

Our family decided that for New Year’s we wanted to spend it in a cabin in the woods, and this home, checked every box. The communication with the owner was amazing, the home was outfit fitted with everything we needed, and the views were everything we were hoping for.

Beautiful mountain views from a cozy cabin or a spacious deck. A short drive to Waynesville for some shopping and dining. Easy access on paved roads from I40. The cabin was well equipped with supplies for cooking and games or puzzles for family fun. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views decorated nicely. Easy to find. They even had a Christmas tree set up for the season. The place is quiet. We would love to come back.

Cabin is just as advertised. Location is quiet and peaceful. Spent each morning watching the light returning to the mountains or the fog moving from valley to ridge. Cabin is well stocked with supplies. Cabin is high on a mountain, but the drive up is simple and pleasant. Brandon as always kept us informed before and during the visit. We had no issues with this rental.

Our trip to Spoke Wheel with our two friends could hardly have been better. From the well stocked and very functional kitchen to the comfortable beds, our group felt at home in the cabin. The views of the valley were breathtaking, with the Smoky Mountains really showing off for us.Furniture was comfortable but a recliner would’ve made naps even better. Brandon answered every question promptly and accurately. We’ll certainly recommend the cabin to our friends. A great stay!

Brandon is the ultimate host and provides such detailed attention you the property and stay. Check in was super easy and quick. The beds a truly comfortable and the living area was amazing to watch Georgia lose to Old Miss. The loft area was cool get away if you wanted to watch something different or read a book which we did both. If you are a sunrise person check out the porch and if it’s fall or winter bring a sweater. Overall we loved this place!

Cabin was the perfect mountain experience. Everything was as shown on the website. The mountain views were incredible! Would highly recommend if you're looking for peace, quiet, and views.

A much needed break away from the city was just what we needed and we absolutely loved the cabin! The place itself was amazingly equipped and we actually overpacked; we had doubles of so many things since the cabin had so much already for us even above and beyond what they had told us ahead of time. It really helped us feel “at home” but also not stressed about having to leave the cabin if we didn’t want to. The host was beyond amazing to work with before, during and after and as a travel planner, it was nice to have a break for once and not have to prepare a thing and have such a nice place to vacation! 10/10 would stay again in a heartbeat!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and great views when the fog cleared. We are definitely looking forward to returning at some point. The owners were really nice and had everything set up for our arrival. Definitely worthy of all five stars!!!

Great stay! Check out the sunrise from the front porch! Good communication with Brandon. Cabin was, as advertised and a good value. Saw two bear cubs out back of the cabin the morning we were leaving.

This cabin was amazing! We have been to several cabins and this was the best one! The view is amazing! The fire pit and beds were amazing as well! The communication with the owner was also amazing :) The cabin was spotless and stocked with what we needed for 4 nights. We would definitely come back here and recommend it to others.

We would rate our experience a SIX if we could. From initial communications, to the quiet peaceful cabin experience, our week was wonderful. The cabin itself is well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. The view is amazing. Thoughtful touches such as spring closing gates at either end of the porch are a great touch for meandering dogs or children. Throughout our stay Brandon was an excellent communicator and very helpful with ideas of things to do or places to visit. Our thanks to him for a quiet and memorable week! Robert and Gale

Would recommend this property to everyone, the inside is decorated with very high quality furniture and fully stocked with everything, but what makes this amazing is the front deck with amazing views of the surrounding mountains, then add in the fire pit that looks into the forest yet is well lit if you need lights. My family had a wonderful week in this cabin hiking the local trails, fishing and tubing the local streams and visiting the many shops located within 30 minutes. Just a very relaxing place to live or vacation. The host Brandon is very attentive and helpful with anything you need.

This cabin was wonderful! The host had it stocked with all of the essentials. I really didn't need to bring anything besides myself and my clothes. Wonderful location tucked away from everything, yet a short drive down the mountain into town and reasonably located from tons of attractions. My goal was to get away from it all while still enjoying the comforts of home, and they surely delivered. The host was wonderful. He had plenty of useful information to share and was very attentive without being pushy. I would highly recommend this place, and I would definitely stay here again.

This property is up in the mountains and provides spectacular views from the side porch. After a long day of hiking it was so relaxing hang out by the firepit and roast marshmallows with the family. The cabin is well laid out with a loft upstairs that is perfect for the kids. The cool temperatures were unbelievable and provided a nice break from the FL heat. The first and the last day of our stay we saw a momma bear and her cubs walk within 100 yards of the cabin which was amazing. The people of Waynesville are so polite and accommodating. We will definitely be returning for another trip!
