Lone Star Lodge - Gorgeous Lodge in Hocking Hills

The cabin was roomy and able to accommodate our group of 13 with room to spread out. Our teenagers appreciated the loft space, pool table and hot tub. It’s in a convenient spot close to great hiking. There is no noise from the surroundings at all, however the cabin itself is very noisy - the walls are thin/ floorboards and beds really creaky so you can hear everything happening no matter what room you’re in. We lost power one night due to high winds in the area, the owner was responsive in giving me updates on the situation.

Bring salt and pepper. If you want to roast marshmallows and make S’mores, bring roasting forks.

We had a great stay!

Had plenty of rooms. Nice recliners. Had problem with DVD Player, text them some one came with in a half hour, with a brand new one. Awesome place, if you want Privacy u will find it there.

We had 18 people and it fit us perfectly. Was cozy and clean and felt very private and secluded. Enough space inside and outside for fun and activities. The property managers respond quickly if you need anything. Only thing to note is bring your own shampoo and body wash if staying as well as hand soap. Everhthjng else is provided. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin.

Kitchen was not well stocked for cooking meals. Needed utensils and pans were scarce. Furniture and mantle were dusty and bathtubs were not clean. There were no drain stoppers in any of the sinks which forced us to wash dishes in the largest cooking pot we could find. Mattresses were noisy! Was probably the box springs. Couldn’t turn over without making noise.

The cabin had great space for our large group of friends with children! (16 total) A few things to note that didn’t impact the rating: -The smaller brown sofa in the main living room needs to go to the curb. Zero stuffing in the cushions and some exposed wood at the back of the seat makes it incredibly uncomfortable and dangerous. -There was only one bathtub stopper which created issues when trying to bath all 8 kids come night time. -The bathroom door on the upper level does not latch. -Some of the chairs at the table downstairs are very wobbly and unstable. Overall a great stay! Location is beautiful with a great path leading from the fire pit to view sunsets. Thank you for accommodating our large group of friends for a Hocking Hills adventure!

Our family had a great time at the cabin. We had 8 adults and 6 children -more than enough beds & rooms. Of course, more bathrooms would always be nice. Lovely yard with firepit for nice evenings. Pool table & hot tubs were a big hit. Nice kitchen for everyone to help cook & eat. Price a little high, but it was Labor Day weekend.

Really nice property, private setting. Close to trails. Highly recommend.
