Log Heaven - Romantic Luxury Log Cabin near Banner Elk With Hot Tub, Pool Table, & Fishable River!

Great property, but hot tub isn’t working. Something is wrong with the thermostat or heater. We notified the realty company the first day. It was never fixed. Thermostat was locked at 65. It got cold. It has the potential to be a great place but appears to not be maintained that well. Other features were great. We aren’t that picky. However, I would not stay here again. Considering what I paid for the cabin, I don’t think it was worth it. I’ve had better results with other hosts at cheaper cabins.

Log Heaven was great! Not too far from town, but on a nice quiet road. The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the outdoor fireplace on the deck. Would highly recommend!

The privacy was excellent! The kitchen had every thing we needed!

We loved the location of this house for hiking, sightseeing, etc. It was about 25-30 minutes to Blowing Rock, Boone, and Grandfather Mountain. Banner Elk is a cute little town as well with nice restaurants/taverns. The house was very clean and stocked with utensils, towels, etc. If staying longer than a day or two, bring shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were awesome, especially after a day of hiking. The only negative, we had to go out and buy a lighter to start the fireplace on the deck. Highly recommend this rental. Hopefully we’ll be back if in the area again.

We had a great stay for our wedding get away. The hot tub and porch was very nice and the whole house felt very cozy. The driveway situation was not conveyed accurately in the listing as it is very steep and narrow resulting in some scratches on my car from branches on either side. But the house as a whole was very nice, well kept and suited my wife and I very well.

Went for Grandfather Mountain Highland Games so my daughter could compete. This was the perfect place after a day of stress and dancing. My girls loved the hot tub and the absolute peace and quiet. The wrap sround porch surrounded by trees is a definite plus. The kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.My family didnt want to leave.

My wife and I stayed in this lovely home and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately the heat went out on the second night but the rental company was very nice and had a company come out and repair the system. They also had another cabin that we could have moved to just in case the system wasn’t repaired for the next night. Very helpful and accommodating!!

This place exceeded our expectations, roomy and quiet, great quick access to stores and still alot of beautiful scenery.

We selected this property for its wrap-around porch overlooking the wooded mountainside and the stream down below. The sounds of the calling birds and flowing stream were exactly what we wanted to escape from our busy lives. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped, and the location is close to good restaurants and shopping for any of your needs. We're already looking forward to our next visits!
