Fantastic property tucked away in the hills. Was an unusually hot Pennsylvania weekend, but the climate control of the house was exceptional. Hot tub in the property was a nice touch, and the fire pit was an excellent place to unwind in the evenings. The kitchen functioned extremely well, permitting each of us to prepare a wide range of dishes while visiting. Absolutely recommend this listing for a nice secluded getaway.
This place is as advertised. I ran across this searching for a nice cabin to stay during the fall. The house, the property and location was amazing. We had no complaints. We really enjoyed the views and the outside fire pit. The new Yefu outdoor chairs were very comfortable as well. There was lots of dead trees in the woods so I gathered my own wood as opposed to using the wood that was at the property. The kitchen had all of the necessary accessories for cooking. The property has a coffee pot and Keurig machine. There is a big two car garage that was free to use so that was a nice bonus. There are several state parks nearby for hiking of sightseeing. The property manager recommended going to Cowans Gap State park. It is about a 25 min drive southwest and the park was beautiful. It has a kids playground, a nice lake, and nice walking trail around the lake. During your drive to or from the park, there is a double dip drive-in that sells ice cream. It is very nostalgic and reminded me of places from the 60's. Overall, my family and friends had a great time. We will be returning.
When we arrive my niece decided it is a house she could see herself living in permanently. This is a great family get away with beautiful surroundings. The house had all new appliances and features. The only thing missing was a cork screw ?. We will try to return next year.
