There’s absolutely nothing I can say other than perfect. We come to the Smokies every year and have always stayed somewhere different each time we come down. This place is “THE” place to stay. I don’t plan on going anywhere else from here on out. If you’re like us, and trailer a bike down with a 3/4 ton truck, then you’ll be pleased to know that all the roads in and out are wonderfully paved. Be careful because the roads are a tad bit narrow with a truck and trailer but I had 0 issues in or out. The owners were fantastic to deal with, very courteous and kind as well. The neighborhood is very quiet, calm, and peaceful. I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven in the Smokies, then look no further. We will definitely be back. See you next year!!!

The cabin lives up to its name! Wonderful experience and in a beautiful setting. Trails are great for walking and enjoying nature. Will definitely be back!

This cozy cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and provided the perfect, quiet atmosphere we were looking for. We would definitely stay again!!!

Townsend is the perfect place to plan a restful visit to the mountains. The location of the cabin is peaceful with amazing views. The cabin is exactly what it is described to be. The only thing that could use an upgrade is the cooking utensils and pots and pans. Townsend is limited during the off season for restaurants. We love to cook when we visit so we went to Walmart in Maryville to get a larger no stick pan that fit our needs. A skillet or gas grill would be a great addition. I would caution people with disabilities or physical ailments about the stairs. The stairs going to the main bed are very steep and can be tricky to navigate during a late night potty break. . The living room area was great. The couch is super comfy. We weren’t able to navigate the TV for live channels and there werent any directions on how to operate. We used the Hulu app and made do that way.

What a peaceful, comfortable stay! We wanted to experience the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and not the tourist trap of nearby areas. Townsend and this cabin were perfect for what we were seeking. We were able to hike daily in the National Forest, visit the Townsend museums & visitor centers, go to Tuckaleechee Caverns (highly recommend), go to Maryville and visit the History Museum and Cades Cove museum, connect with people that are direct descendents of the history of the area. Although we are not golfers, someone told us about the views at Wild Laurel Golf Corse just minutes from the cabin, so, we went there to the tavern and soaked in the sunshine and the view. Don’t pass this cabin up if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful vacation. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. When we come back to the Smokey’s, we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin!! We were able to travel all around the area with ease and took in all that the area had to offer. We used the grill and fireplace and slept so well on the comfy beds! All communication with the property owner was great with the check-in and out process easy and clear. Thank you so much for everything!

Clean and beautiful living room and fun atmosphere

We were under the impression that there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very inconvenient just having one bathroom. The cabin was a little cold. The fireplace did not vent properly and couldn’t be used our second night. The listing stated minutes walk to Cades Cove and we walked and didnt reach the cove. But overall it was a sufficient stay.

The cabin was beautiful, in a quiet location and very clean. You can tell that the owners care about the property and their guests.

Great view 100%recomend

This is our favorite cabin for the view, location and easy access without steep roads. It’s an easy commute to pigeon Forge, gatlinburg, and our favorite Cades cove. We hope to have the chance to bring our little family again next year.

We loved how Townsend offered a more relaxed, less crowded experience compared to other areas, which made it ideal for a family trip.The cabin provided plenty of space for our family to relax, unwind, and spend quality time together. Whether it was enjoying the mountain views, relaxing on the porch, or winding down after a day of exploring, this cabin was the perfect retreat.Communication with the host was great, and everything was exactly as described. We made some special family memories here and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in the Smokies. We would not hesitate to book again!

Easy access. Clean, comfortable and inviting. For us, the location is perfect to unplug and unwind. You can hike to Schoolhouse Gap from the cabin. Minutes to Townsend, Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns, Horseback riding. Maryville is a half hour away and has all of the stores. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are 30-40 minutes.

The cabin was in a beautiful location and was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our stay, it was just too short! Lovely cabin and view. Hopefully we will be able to stay here again in the future when we come back to Townsend.

Very welcoming and friendly. Everything we needed was provided for us. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The fireplace in the living area was wonderful. We’ve already booked a return and for a longer period of time.

The place was absolutely gorgeous..I don't say that as a cliche..it was beautiful..we came in fall ...it's beautiful and tranquil.. I rented an r bike and rode around the fields and farms ..I loved every minute of it ..the cabin was great and well maintained.. highly recommend to everyone

So cozy, peaceful and exactly what we we were looking for.

We were in town for my brother's wedding and searched for a cabin for us to stay a couple nights. My wife located this cabin near Cades Cove. The place is very nice for a small family or a couple. Very clean with everything you need including a grill.

The cabin was great. Just off the beaten path enough to be quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for quiet, and comfortable this is your place. Super cozy, I was really impressed by the comfort of the place. The smell of fresh cedar and wood hits you as soon as you open the door. Exactly what you would expect and want from a log cabin. Will def stay there again. Only real issue was the shower, if you want warm water turn the knob to cold and don’t expect a spa type shower it’s gonna do the job but isn’t going to be relaxing. And figuring out the hot and cold was actually a funny situation. Don’t pass on this place it’s really great and close to everything but far enough away and private to be perfect!

The location of this cabin was amazing! It was peaceful, out of the busy touristy areas,but yet it was close enough that we traveled to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg almost daily.We will definitely be back!

Loved the large livingroom and the property itself especially with the mossy landscape made for cute getting ready and first look photos as we got married on cades cove during our stay. We found wild strawberrys and blackberrys on the side of the road and it was fun to also watch the cows and the view is spectacular! Our only complaint is that the loft is hot.

Super cozy, very nice and clean. Bonus is the pasture and cows across the street in front of the beautiful mountain view.

The cleaning crew really does go the extra mile - I'm a stickler about clean and I found zero issues (a rare feat). We love vacationing in the Townsend area and hope to stay in this cabin on our next trip!

Beautiful cozy place inside and out. Perfect for a couples stay. The cattle in the pasture across the street out front was a nice touch.

Very spacious, extremely clean, beatiful veiws and every small detail was accpunted for.

Place was everything expected but the first floor bedroom clearly did not have the sheets changed and contained the exoskeletons of bugs that I think came from the blanket when I lifted it to hop in. The mouse in the house didn’t bother us that much since it is a country home but the bed bugs are inexcusable.

This was the perfect location for our first family vacation. Our kids absolutely loved it as did we. We had an amazing time and we will most definitely be back.

We arrived late Fri and departed Tues AM. This cabin is in a great location, beautiful property! I absolutely loved the cabin setup! Was wonderful to enjoy a fire one night. :) I’m in love with the couch! LOL Everything was perfectly clean and tidy! My only confusion was the reference to running the dishwasher upon checkout…neither my husband or I could locate a dishwasher! Could be we’re both blind, but nothing under the counters in the kitchen. Haha! Luckily we only used a couple plates and those were easily washed by hand. I would very much recommend this location; communication with the owner was easy and when I spoke with her, she’s very warm and kind!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for my stay in TN while traveling to visit the Smoky Mountains. Particularly great is the proximity to the park and surrounding area(s).

We loved it as soon as we pulled in the driveway. Everything inside and out was so welcoming. Loved sitting on both porches. Beautiful views. I don't think you can walk to cades cove though. It took us 20 minutes to get there in the car. If you like being out of the crowds and in a more peaceful atmosphere, this place is awesome! We're already making reservations for next year.

This place is so quiet and relaxing! Location is great, not far from Townsend shops/restaurants and about a hour drive from Gatlinburg. Once you walk in, you can immediately tell how clean this place is; one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed! The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Everything was beautiful! More than I expected, property was stunning and the views were breathtaking! First time to Tennessee for me and I sure didn’t want to leave Townsend, people were friendly. Cabin was equipped with everything you need, only thing we didn’t have enough of was hand towels but other than that it was amazing. Nice homey feel. Would have loved burning the fireplace but was quite cold enough to do that. Will definitely try to plan another trip and stay at the cabin

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed for a short vacation. It was in a quiet peaceful location. No noisy neighbors. Not too far from all the good Townsend restaurants. We loved sitting in the front porch rockers watching the cattle in the pasture across the road. We even saw a double rainbow!

We stayed to attend the Great Smokey Mountains Half Marathon. The location was perfect. Far enough away from town that our view of the mountains wasn't covered by various hotels and condos. Close enough that we could get food or go hiking in the park without spending more than 15-30min in the car. The cabin was very clean and very spacious for 2 people. Plenty of hot water for showers or to soak after a long day hiking/running. Like many others, coffee out on the front porch while watching the sunrise over the mountains was the most picturesque part of this location. If you're a birder, bring your binoculars! We added a few new entries to our list while watching the sunrise.

Truly enjoyed our relaxing stay on the quiet side of the Smokies. Took the short drive to cades cove several times, but really enjoyed mornings on the porch and just hanging out. Such a quiet and peaceful setting

This cabin is nicer than than the photos! A large family room with screened in porch is attached to the cabin. Huge TV for relaxing after a long day of hiking. A beautiful morning view from the porch! Highly recommended!
