Pet Policy

We’re happy to welcome dogs to join you on your getaway! Please note that due to allergies, we’re unable to accommodate cats. A $29 pet fee applies per furry friend, per night to help cover additional cleaning and care. Thanks for understanding—we look forward to hosting you and your pup!

Longer Stays

For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.

Please note: The tap water often has a yellow/light brown appearance due to high minerality levels -- specifically iron and manganese. We’ve had the pipes/well inspected and there’s nothing wrong with them; the presence of iron/manganese is normal in this area, and the water is perfectly safe to drink. We recommend bringing bottled water.

This cabin has a wood-burning fireplace and stove that add to its coziness. We recommend you bring your own firewood to enjoy! Also, it's common for a smoky smell to linger in the wooden-interior cabin after use.

Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are -- particularly the Great Cacapon River and Berkeley Springs. The Great Cacapon is fantastic for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing throughout the year. And the town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US; the shopping, spa, and restaurant scene does not disappoint!

It was a great relaxing vacation. The place fit the need for my family of 4 perfectly! It was exactly what was written in the description, no surprises or disappointments! There was easy and responsive communication throughout the entire stay! Thank you for a great weekend that was well needed for us four!!

This cabin was the perfect spot for our restful, woodsy getaway. We loved the cabin and it was well appointed with everything we needed. We did have a problem with no hot water one evening and the owner was quick to respond and someone came out that evening and fixed it fast. No more problems! The setting was beautiful for our Fall stay. The house was so cozy and we loved the fireplace too!! Thank you! We’d love to come back sometime!

Property was nice and peaceful, cabin was nice. There were deer in yard when we got there which was neat. There were a few issues, the hot tub was nasty but they had someone come clean it but it took until the end of our trip ro be able to use because after they clean it it took 24 hours for it to be able to use. The main bed was like sleeping on a deflated air mattress with 2 people. The bed up stairs was hard and bouncy. The cabin needs a deep dusting, the wine glasses had a layer of dust on them. I know critters are common in the woods but there was a mouse seen in the bathroom. They do need a better water treatment system bath water was brown and smell bad. If they fixed the few things it would be a great place to go back.

We stayed here for our daughter’s 5th birthday. She told me she wanted to camp in the woods. She got exactly that. My husband and my children were so excited upon arrival. They said it was perfect and exactly what they had in mind. Perfect, rustic charm, beautiful, and relaxing. We took our fur babies with us too. I’d 10/10 recommend to anyone. The owner was also very attentive and responded to everything very quickly. Can’t wait to go back :)

Very relaxing, just what we needed to unwind and reconnect. Our 2nd day there, we had some plumbing issues but Tony was on top of it and had it serviced rightaway. View was amazing and loved the tranquility of it all.

This cabin was exactly what my husband and I needed for a quick weekend getaway within an easy 2 hour drive from DC. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub was fabulous. Cell service definitely is spotty (which was perfect for us to unplug) so make sure to have your GPS queued up before you leave the cabin's WiFi n your way back home. We will definitely be back soon!
