Log Cabin w/ Hot Tub near Casino, Cherokee & Bryson City

Little secluded but for what we needed it was ok

Great time and lived the hot tube

Clean cabin.kitchen very well stocked .Great area.Would definitely stay again.

Disappointed this time. Found 3 Roaches in the house and wasn't clean like it needed to be. Couch smelled like pee.

Great place!

My son and I had a father/son weekend for Fathers day and we were very pleased with our stay! The picture's don't do it justice as the cabin is tucked away on a nice hillside surrounded by tall trees on every side that provide a secluded feel. The foliage is gown up but well kept enough to feel natural and purposeful. The constant sounds of the rushing stream down below really set the mood for that mountain feel your looking for! We were lucky to get a mix of light rain and sunshine over the whole weekend, so we got to experience the setting in all its glory!The cabin was well stocked with more amenities than you'll need, full kitchen and cookware, TV, Wi-Fi and plenty of room. The place is very well kept and very clean, we really enjoyed the hot tub after long days of wading and fishing in the Oconaluftee River! It's about a 10-15 min drive to Cherokee which is close enough to all the attractions, food and things to do while being far enough away to feel comfortably private. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin, it's a fantastic value for your money and will certainly leave the family with memories you wont forget!

This property is absolutely amazing. The price is well worth what you get. The property was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and just have a great relaxing extended weekend. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great relaxing wonderful cabin in the woods! Tucked away in one of the most beautiful valleys I've seen in my 58 yrs! Definitely going back and next time I'm painting a rock for the porch! If you know you know! Check it out and you may know.

The cabin is nice however the queen size bed leaves alot to be desired and there could have been back up paper products. Other than that good location

We had one small hiccup when we first arrived that Darren handled very professionally no other complaints whatsoever The place is awesome locations perfect never did get in the hot tub but walk down to the creek quite a few times All in all it was 100% a great time and a fabulous location

The cabin was very cozy and the hot tub was nice and relaxing. Very peaceful & great getaway spot! If you’re in a lower car I would recommend going real slow up the driveway to avoid messing anything up

Good home for are stay could use some up date's but all around good stay. drive was how discribed step up hill.

We only stayed for 2 days. It was a pretty location but it does need some upgrades. When you 1st enter its cute just like the pictures but the bedrooms need attention. The beds are not comfortable, the carpets need cleaning (I was like Oh My..), and the towels smelled funny. I went and bought us some. Overall it was a short stay and we weren't there alot because of our tournament. But it was easy to find and peaceful.

It was so peaceful to begin with, but the amenities were awesome. It was a cozy little get away we enjoyed it very much.

House was clean, the hot tub works great, and the location is great. Plenty of privacy. The owner was easy to contact and answered any questions I had. We will definitely be back

Difficult to get to in bad weather, but otherwise a nice cabin in a great location for visiting Cherokee.

It was a convenient cozy place to stay. Great for visiting Cherokee area while being able to stay in a rural setting instead of a hotel. Loved the creek that flowed past the property. Kids had a blast playing in it. While it has some wear and tear, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great.One issue with water when hot tub kicks on no water inside cabin. Other than that is was a great experience. Decent size yard for kiddos to run an play. Will most definitely rent again!

Road going to it is a bit rough and the place was pretty dirty. From the layers of dust on the ceiling fans to the sticky carpets. Enjoyed for our little time but would not book again

We loved the location. Driveway was just as described, all wheel drive had no problem getting up. Walk down to creek was maintained fine. While the rocks that people have written on was fun to read,i think they need a better place to sit. You can't get to the rail to look toward the creek because of so many rocks across 90% of the porch. On to the inside. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen wasn't really clean but usable. We cleaned it well. Biggest issue, the water, it shuts off in about 5 mins While you are in the shower, this would have been good info to have. The water was brown, we had to use bottle water for everything. I get rustic and can do rustic if i need to or want to but to have to do it without knowing I'm going to have to, at a place I'm paying for is not ok. We may have still rented this place but now we will avoid renting any place this group represents due to not being forth coming with what you are renting.

It rained the whole time we were there. Nothing much was open . We will not return until the summer begins next time

Everything was great the house the views the only thing was its listed 3mins from the casino and it was 11mins other then that it was great will definitely rent again in the future

This property is amazing!! We loved how close it was to everything but still private. The house had everything we needed and we even added a rock to the guest rocks they had on the porch. Great getaway for me and my mom. Will definitely be coming back!! I will add I think this is a great place for kids!! Right by the stream and big area to play.

We chose this property for its location and price point. It is not a luxurious place, but it is not claiming to be. We found it perfectly suitable for our needs. It was clean and quiet. The gas wall heater and gas logs quickly warmed up the place. The location near the stream was lovely, and it was conveniently located to our planned visits to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Sylva. The hot tub worked as described. Linens were clean and adequate. It's true the driveway is a bit steep and narrow, but we made it just fine in our little Honda Civic. I would definitely choose this place again, and I found it to be a great value.

It was excellent and better than expected

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. We felt right at home. The property is private and there's nothing better than that creek you can hear from the from porch!! We had a question and the owner was quick to respond. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home!!

Loved the location,has a nice hot tub , it is a little difficult to get the cover off and back on again, make sure you bring your own charcoal/wood and grilling tools, wire brush etc…. Overall a nice place

Was not a minute from the park. Water shuts off while you are showering. We had to heat with 2 space heaters cause the heater would not stay lite. Said gas company would come out but never seen them.

This was our second time here for a reason, the first time we loved it so much we vowed to come back. This time didn't disappoint, was able to set in the hot tub while we were peppered with snow. Woke up on departure day to a blanket of snow.

Every year we do a girls trip , this was our worse experience in 5 years.Wine glasses in cabinet were dirty,bathroom floor was dirty,whole place could use a good dusting.There was less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the cabin.

Everything was great. Beds are comfortable. Everything you need if you want to cook or close enough to go out to eat It is up a steep drive, but not that difficult to get to. It’s heated with gas, so it was really nice and warm considering it was under 20 degrees at night. Enjoyed the hot tub. Beautiful view and the sound of the creek was quite pleasant. We only had a few things of concern, but a quick call to Darion took care of them. He is so nice and helpful. We are looking forward to visiting again.

The stay was great the property was just what we expected and communication with the manager was. Great but the house keeper could have swept the leaves off the porch so we weren't tracking leaves in the house constantly

Cabin was great. The road to cabin was dangerous. It is washed out in several places. Needs attention and gravel

The house was great but getting to it was horrible. They need to pave the driveway instead of using rocks on such a steep hill.

I live 2.5hrs away from the cabin and it took us 10 hours of backtracking and moving around to get there. The night prior Darion called to check in, and when we got there there was no power because of the storm. The cell towers were down and the internet was out. The next day I got in touch with Darion to let him know we were safe and there, we had to travel to sylva for internet. The cabin was very comfortable and it was actually nice to be fully disconnected. You definitely need a 4-wheel drive car to get up there, an empty truck bed might fishtail. But it was a beautiful cabin and the creek was raging thanks to the hurricane so the sound at night was very pretty. You couldn't ask for a more thoughtful host and a prettier place to be. We will definitely be back during better times. Please be safe, WNC will always be the place my soul is happiest, and I will support in any way I can. All my love from Lincolnton.
