Nice hot tub, fun towns around for local shopping, spacious cabin.

We had a nice and relaxing time away. For the most part, everything was clean. Check in & communication were easy. The house was comfortable however the walls are paper thin. There are not a ton of 'extras' that I'm used to seeing in a rental. Being your own coffee, shampoo & conditioner as those weren't provided. The departure cleaning list was unacceptable, you are required to wash, dry & put away beach towels, start the washer and the dishwasher an HOUR before departure. Very unfortunate as it was a cute place but not worth the cleaning fee of over 100 if I have to do my own laundry.

The owners take great care of the property and each year we notice little things that are fine tuned and upgraded. They are so easy to work with and respond quickly to questions. Cozy place for a quiet getaway

Hot tub was a bonus, however, having scramble at 1:00 am to make sure the used towels were washed, dried and put away was a bit much. Also, sadly the fireplace did not work. It would not light. One reason we take a fall trip is for a cozy fireplace night to sit around and chat. That was a fail for sure! The exit rules were also a bit much, lots had to be done to check out. We followed the rules and were respectful and responsible. Othewise the place was very nice and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed for a quick anniversary trip. We loved the cabin, neighborhood, and area! Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Great location. Host provided clear instructions for using appliances and IT in the cabin.Only concern about the property was loose stairs between the first and second floors. Check out clean up required by the host was challenging for us as a family with multiple small children but would likely be easier for an older group.

I traveled with hubby, sister & my elderly parents for a long weekend and to attend a wedding reception. The cabin was absolutely perfect. Everyone had a quiet & comfortable space of their own. We could have definitely had more people due to the spacious accommodations. .The setting is such so that you want to sit out on the front porch or back screened in porch (or fire pit area) and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings, trees & birds or walk down to the lake. We also spent a lot of time cozying up on the sofa or reclining chairs or simply around the dining room table.It gets dark at night (we found out when returning from dinner night one) and the path to the front door from the parking space is not lighted and we had not thought to at least leave the porch light on. Some solar pathway lights would have worked, but we used our phone flashlights to make sure our parents didn't trip while traversing the path.Thoughtful cabinet of essential spices, salt, pepper, etc. was very welcome.Would definitely return here & being that we have family in Holland, this will be where I want to stay when visiting.

Easy check-in, great owner. It’s a nice walkable distance into downtown Saugatuck, or hit the highway and head up to Holland. The home is well furnished and super clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very positive experience with many special amenities.

The cabin was a perfect size for our 6 person group, our 2 young children enjoyed the beach and it was great to have access to the no wake lake. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth. My only mild criticism is that the beach is a bit further away than the 1 minute walk advertised, but it's probably 2 minutes (unless you have toddlers in which case it's 5-10).

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage! It was pristine and had so many supplies and extras to make our stay wonderful.

Wonderful home in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. About 1/8 mile walk to Goshorn lake, which is refreshing and great for swimming. Walkable to Dune Rides and ice cream. 1/4 mile from the Beeline trail that is perfect to ride bikes to Saugatuck Dunes State Park or all the way to Holland or the other way for a short ride into Saugatuck. The house has a great layout with surprisingly upscale and comfortable furniture (no cheap Wayfair filler you usually find in short term rentals). The outside has a lovely front porch and screened in back porch with a hot tub and great table to eat or play games. The back patio with grill and fire pit is very nice, but needs some attention. The grill is useable but in poor condition and the fire pit and back area needs a good cleaning. All in all a very enjoyable experience and we would not hesitate to rent again.

The cabin was decorated so perfectly. The beds were very comfortable and really felt very relaxing there. We enjoyed our stay. Tom was extremely organized with all of his instructions. You could tell he really has pride in ownership. Lovely house!

First impression of the property is that of Fried Green Tomatoes. Dusky, hidden, eternal. Step in and the darkness envelops you. Switch on a light and there is just enough warm golden light to see. Off-putting, at first; then you settle in and realize the interior is free of dust, insulated from the world. This is Marriott Resort quality. NOTE: Ask for the HOA sheet early on. The steps are a little wonky but you get used to it. This is a top drawer experience. The bathrooms are very well appointed and spacious. Bamboo pillows and a high end mattress. The spice rack in the kitchen rivals ours, at home. The entire building is made of wood, no plastics, no metals. Just gorgeous knotty exposed wood. Whatever time you plan - double it....

The cabin is so cozy and welcoming and well-stocked. The owners go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect.

Puddle of grease left in the oven, caused a lot of smoke. I wiped it out to stop the smoke. Grease splattered all over the window above the kitchen sink. 2”+ of grease and debris in the grill that my husband had to clean out prior to use. A cookie and feathers under the main level couch. The manager was very responsive, but definitely lacked customer service experience. As a paying customer I never expected him to tell my husband about his business acumen and to dismount off his high horse. I did forget my bracelet and manager said he shipped it. It was further from the water than we realized when booking. A bit of a hike when carrying kayaks/SUP’s. Hot tub was great. The rest of the house was great, but we don’t go on vacation & pay for cleaning to end up doing a lot of the cleaning ourselves.

Absolutely beautiful log cabin. Great place to get away. Perfect for a large group. Only thing we struggled with was the coffee pot. Had to google instructions. Printed ones would be great. Host was very quick to respond to messages. Would love to stay again.

We all made the remark that the online photos don't do the property justice. Close enough to town and nestled among so many beautiful trees, with a short walk to the dock and beach. So picturesque! If and when we return to the Saugatuck area, this house is where we'd all choose to stay.

Spectacular location on a quiet street. The house was immaculate and had everything anyone could ask for in a vacation rental, even a surround sound system in the basement for those lazy days. So close to downtown Saugatuck and many local attractions. We went with friends, but would not hesitate to recommend to families.

Beautiful cottage with lots of room for 6 of us. Great places to sit outside on the front porch, screened porch and backyard. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Our family just adores this comfortable family friendly cabin. Comfortable furniture, great basement for movies, screen porch for dining, front porch for swinging and chats, grill and outdoor fire pit for s’mores and fire side stories and large dining table for games, puzzles, and of course dinner. Hot tub and deep soaking tub for a cool evening or after a run up and down the dunes or Mt Baldy stairs. Driving or biking distance to Douglas and Saugatuck, walking distance to ice cream and farm stand and access to the no wake lake and private beach and dock space perfect for splashing, paddling, sandcastles, fishing and all out family fun. Respectful and responsive hosts.
