Ludlow, Vermont
This rustic, cozy little cabin sits on Lake Pauline, approximately 2 miles from Okemo Mountain (Jackson Gore), on a dead-end road. You are close to everything but feel like you are away from it all! Lake Pauline is a 'quiet' lake, with fishing, swimming, canoes & kayaks allowed - no motor boats. There are kayaks, a canoe, and life vests at the cabin, with plenty of rental options close by. The cabin has 2 bedrooms on the main floor that contain full sized beds and a loft containing 4 twin beds. There are (2) full baths on the main floor and in the heated, walk-out basement, both w/ walk-in showers. There is wood burning fireplace and streaming tv in the main room and a tv/dvd combo in the loft. The kitchen has full-sized appliances and is stocked with the necessities, the table is expandable to seat 8. Washer/Dryer in the basement & secure wifi internet access. Outside there is a grill, deck, firepit & dock.
There is nothing not to love about the log cabin on the water. It had everything we could have needed, was clean and comfortable, and all instructions were clearly communicated.
Our stay was great! Very nice cabin on the water with wood burning fireplace, fire pit, gas grill, and everything else you need for a pleasant get a way!
Very nice cabin for comfortable stay while enjoying daytime outings in the surrounding area. Easy location to access and everything as noted in listing.
The stay was very nice. It was smaller than I had thought, but it worked out. Unfortunately, with the flood happening in July there wasn’t as much going on around in the town. That’s understandable. The hosts were very nice! Thanks for everything.
The cabin was very clean and well organized. Kids had a lot of fun playing by the lake and roasting marshmallows. Overall great place to visit.
Our family stayed at the cabin for a week we had a great time.It was cozy, clean, and easy access to everything we were looking to do. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful respite from every day life.
Was nice and clean. Very enjoyable stay. Came to Vermont to bury my husband's ashes. Staying at the cabin made a sad time enjoyable for our grandchildren.
Was exactly what we needed and expected. Very close to Okemo and that was the purpose of the trip.
Five adults and three teenagers enjoyed staying at the Lake Pauline Waterfront! The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved sitting by the fireplace at the end of the day. The property was well stocked with everything and all you need to do is bring food to eat. Being 2 miles from Jackson Gore was a bonus!
Really enjoyed MLK weekend here. Close to Okemo. Plenty of room for family of 4. Would definitely return.
We enjoyed our six day stay near Okemo mountain. A very short drive to the mountain, cozy house, has everything one might need. Kids had a blast in their own bedroom upstairs, adults loved a chance to unwind after skiing with Netflix and scrabble.
Beautiful home and location!
Fabulous lake access, close to to hiking, state parks and town. House was perfect! Host (Kim) very responsive. Loved everything g it had to offer.
We have stayed on Lake Pauline for about 38 years. This time we got to stay in this beautiful log cabin. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and the loft has 4 twin beds. I Although it’s not “child-proof” my grandson and his mom and dad were in the other bedroom and he stayed in his playpen and highchair and we held him a lot. The outside space is amazing! A really lovely space for the week! Thank you to the Shepherd’s!
Perfect size cabin and property with everything you need to enjoy a great vacation on the lake!!
