Flemington, Missouri
Dry one room cabin with 2 queen beds that can comfortably sleep 4 people. Located inside the cabin you will find a tv, full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. This cabin has a beautiful deck with patio table and is within a short walking distance to the pond Amenities located on site but NOT inside the cabin include: public restroom, shower house, laundry, shelter house, fire pit, BBQ grills and a stocked pond with ducks to watch & feed.
Conveniently located close to several area attractions, but far enough away that you aren't right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Less than 2 miles to the nearest public boat ramp, 5 minute drive to the golf course, or a 10 minute drive to the Lucas race track.
Internet does not work in cabin We had no communication available Screwed our trip and schedule
It is very quit and out in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by beautiful lakes, It was perfect. When you live in a city sometimes you just want to get away from everything.
Nice little spot
Awful .Wasted my money
Was all we could have needed for a weekend get away! Host was amazing as well!
Place was upkept well. I stayed in a dry cabin and it was a short walk to the restroom/shower. The A/C and heat work (good ole Midwest early fall). Gotta shower quick as the hot water didn't last long, that was my only complaint.
Out of the way and secluded, was a nice peaceful and quiet time, we loved it
Loved this cabin for the weekend! The room was clean, AC was on before the got there and it worked great. Great communication between property manager.
We had the best time adorable cabin, great people, easy to contact if needing anything. Not far from the lake or a store absolutely loved it
The write up on this property was very misleading. A few pros but numerous cons. Starting with the Public bathroom which was hidden around the side of a storage unit. The path to reach the bathroom was through tall weeds. The shower room was a small area with a pull shower curtain right in the middle of the laundry room,; no door or means for privacy. Anyone could walk through the door who had a key to the enclosure. From there we traveled down a gravel road, which was to be expected, past piles of old junk on both sides of the narrow washed out road. Upon arriving at the cabin, we once again had to go through tall weeds and past a junky fire pit filled with trash. The cabin, once inside, was clean with new bedding on both beds. The inside amenities were accurate. There was a small microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and a full-size refrigerator. However, the refrigerator was not working. The refrigerator side did not keep food cold and the freezer did not freeze. We lost several food items Due to the non-refrigerated conditions. If there was Wi-Fi a password was not given to access it..There were no curtains on the windows which allows campers across the road to look right into the cabin Or anybody driving by for that matter. The air conditioner did keep the cabin cool… If you like a musty smell to go along with the cool air coming out. To reach the fish stocked pond, walking through weeds was a must. again The pond was covered with green Algae, however, did have pretty swans which was a pleasant sight to be seen. This could be a cute cabin in the woods with very effort put into. Cutting weeds, picking up trash/old junk, around the campground, and a few personal touches inside the cabin would certainly make staying here a pleasant experience rather than a scary horror movie. Finally, I must give the biggest pro to the property manager. She was very prompt to answer and provide necessary information.
