The Huckleberry Cabin is perfect for a family getaway or a group of friends. Strategically located in Carnelian Bay, it is easy to explore the trails nearby, visit with the locals, hit the slopes or the beach, or just sit on the deck and enjoy the incredible PANORAMIC VIEWS OF LAKE TAHOE!

LIVING ROOM. From the moment you open the front door you’ll know you are in Tahoe, as you step into the Living Room with original stone slab floors, large fireplace with a stone and wood hearth, and the amazing panoramic views of the lake. The room is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa and two comfy chairs and a large coffee table that set in front of the beautiful wood burning fireplace (regular heat also) and a large TV (cable provided) over the fireplace.
DINING AREA AND KITCHEN. Recently remodeled, the Dining Area includes a table that seats 6 – 8 and an Island Counter with barstools for 4 - 6. The kitchen is immediately adjacent and completely stocked with all the necessities, the kitchen boasts a large stainless steel sink, granite counter tops, and a new refrigerator and gas stove/oven. The extended counter island makes food preparation easy. Windows throughout these areas make it extra airy and bright, including a large window with more beautiful views of the lake.

DECK. A glass door opens to the HUGE DECK where you'll find a sunny spot for coffee in the morning, a patio table with chairs and umbrella, adirondack chairs, and a gas BBQ grill, and more incredible views of the lake.

BEDROOMS. The cabin offers two bedrooms upstairs...both furnished with a Queen bed and a twin with a trundle bed. There is a shared full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Hardwood floors throughout the bedrooms. Wake up each morning looking out the windows to the panoramic lake views.

BATHROOMS: The home provides two full bathrooms; one on the Main Level (walk-in shower) and one on the Second Level (shower/tub combination).

LOCAL CONTACT: Very unique when compared to most cabin rentals....our Caretaker/House Cleaner handles only a small number of select properties in order to give one-on-one personalized service from inquiry to 'see you again soon' and lives just minutes away...handy should you need anything while you're here.

LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION...The Huckleberry Cabin is situated on the slope just above the lake in Carnelian Bay (between Tahoe City and Kings Beach) and is in a lovely neighborhood just minutes away from all that Lake Tahoe has to offer...beaches, golfing, hiking and biking in the summer...world class ski resorts (Squaw Valley, Alpine, Northstar, Homewood, Diamond Peak, Mt. Rose), Cross Country ski trails, sledding hills, snowshoe trails in the winter...and great restaurants, shops and casinos year-round. The neighborhood has exclusive access to some of the greatest hiking/biking/XC/snowshoe trails in North Lake Tahoe.

The view has to be one of the best in Lake Tahoe. We couldn’t ask for anything better. The cabin was very clean and the owners were super responsive. Overall really great!

The views from the back deck are absolutely amazing! The location of the house was ideal. You could get to many areas within 15-20 minutes.

Lovely little spot with a pretty view. Clean and well maintained. I would alert anyone wanting to stay during the winter months to PARK UP TOP, Do not drive down the driveway! We had the good judgment to avoid the steep, icy driveway down to the house only to read those exact instructions later while reading the binder inside. A little too late to put that in the binder and not any online check-in instructions. The road to the house wasn’t plowed and the road from the highway is steep and could be scary in bad conditions. We were fortunate to have a AWD and clear weather. That said, the steps to the house were all ice and unnerving to navigate without even a shovel available to break it up. Also, recommend turning the heat off at night as the electric room heaters overheat the space no matter how low you try to turn the knob. Otherwise, a lovely house and we appreciated how clean and cozy it was, and we felt like it was good value for the price.

This is a charming cabin in a gorgeous neighborhood. And the view is spectacular! If you enjoy old Tahoe, as in stone fireplace, stone floor, cozy furniture, and long history of family memories, this is the place to stay! This family-owned cabin has been lovingly cared for, and you can feel the warm memories from the moment you walk in. My husband and I would definitely come back!

Only good thing is the amazing view. Cabin itself is very dated. Furniture is very old and dusty. If you have any type of allergies, this place will effect them.

We stayed in this wonderful, cozy cabin for 5 days while visiting Lake Tahoe. It was PERFECT for our family of 4. The panoramic views of Lake Tahoe gave us beautiful sunrises and colorful sunsets. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we might need while traveling away from home. It was in Carnelian Bay, so we had easy access to Kings Beach and Tahoe City as well. The hosts were great and very helpful. This is truly a hidden gem in Tahoe.

Comfy cabin with massive deck overlooking Lake Tahoe. We drove around the lake, but so glad we had this beautiful cabin to come back to. Hosts were very responsive to our needs.
