Little River Lodge sleeps 12

The property is exactly how the photos are. Absolutely beautiful. The only bad part is the windy steep hills to get to it but is within a 25 minute drive for food, shopping and site seeing. Highly recommend for large families!!!

This lodge is everything they claim that it is. It's beautiful, well maintained, has everything on site that you would need to just get away and relax - plenty of TVs, beautiful kitchen, comfy beds, games, hot tub and fire pit. We hit local waterfalls (20 mins from lodge), played in the river (5 mins away), and wish we would've been around over a weekend to experience the drive-in movie in town. It is 20 minutes to any of the nearby towns, so I recommend grabbing your groceries and supplies before arrival if possible. We arrived after dark on our first day and had to drive back down to town to go shopping and lost out on enjoying this place for that evening. The only thing I would want to prepare visitors for is the drive up to the cabin - I had no idea how curvy the road would be or how steep some of the hills were, so arriving in the dark was a little bit nerve-wracking as we ascended to the lodge, but the views during the day are worth it!I HIGHLY recommend this rental! We really enjoyed our time here, we had 4 kids with us and the boys were able to do their thing without disturbing the girls because the property is so spacious, both inside and out. An ideal getaway!

No hot tub never got warm

Second time coming here and we loved it even more. Group of quilters that love the lodge for our retreat.

The host was very communicative and helpful. The house is excellent and met all of our family's needs. I could make some suggestions for improvement: The bath towels are tiny, even for a child. We found some mold in the bathrooms, and one of the bathroom fans had a lot of dust and gunk hanging out of it.

Very spacious and clean cabin that held our family comfortably. We are already talking about coming back next year for Christmas!

The cabin was amazing. The amenities were great, but if you need a coffee pot, they only have a Keurig that was a big deal to my girls and they don’t have a pitcher for iced tea if you make that.. but I will definitely book again and refer this place to my friends. The host was spectacular. She gave great directions and detailed information and super sweet.

Great stay for our wedding weekend. We hope to stay agin for an anniversary

We were not prepared for the drive into the rental. We were pulling cargo trailers and the design of the road is not trailer friendly. The upstairs beds need new mattress. There isnt quite enough utenils for a 8 person stay.

We enjoyed our stay, had to make accommodations for little ones due to WiFi issues . Overall great experience, we plan to attend again.

Great family get away. It felt like the middle of nowhere, but Rainsville and Leesburg are close. Our family enjoyed Little River Canyon falls,park with playground and a swimming hole, the Hatter cafe in Mentone, Desoto Falls and park, and Pirates Bay in Leesburg. My grands called it the fancy cabin. It is an extremely nice cabin. Clean, well stocked, plenty of room, well thought out. Communication with owner was good. Clear directions on check in and out. The hardest thing about this cabin is getting to it. There are 2 or 3 ways up the mountain, be sure and get specifics from owner. Thanks for a good experience.

It was beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of room. Nice so each family could have their own space.

7 ladies stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful lodge. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, beautiful la escaping. We had an issue with one of the doors, and the manager came right out and fixed it/)

Myself and five of my friends rented this place for a quilters retreat. Spacious and clean. Met all our needs. We plan to go yearly now!

Great cabin! It had plenty of room and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. It was in a great location. Nice fenced in yard. We enjoyed our stay!

We hosted a retreat here with 10 ladies. We were all very comfortable with plenty of room to roam and gather. We had an issue with water pressure, but it was quickly repaired. Great communication with the host! Downside, it was a bit dusty with cobwebs in the less obvious places, but I’m sure that will be corrected. It was a bit hard to regulate the temp; cold downstairs and hot upstairs. Maybe a box fan would help? Overall a great place to stay. We hope to go back!

This property is fantastic will stay again

We had a great overnight stay at Little River Retreat. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and close to outdoor activities. Thanks for making it available!
