Lincolnwood Cabin - Ridgetop Views - Trails on Property

The host was attentive to our needs. A snowstorm hit the day after we arrived and Nick made sure we had flashlights, candles & charcoal. He also plowed the driveway several times while we were there. The cabin was cozy and well equipped. Our dog really enjoyed having a fenced in area to run.

The cabin overall is very cute and spacious.One thing to note is to get to the cabin. You do have to go up a pretty steep incline so making sure you have a car with 4 x 4 in my opinion is imperative, especially if it were to rain it could be tricky.A couple of things I guess we didn’t expect when we first arrived. The hot tub is pretty old/outdated and I felt like could’ve been a lot cleaner than it was.To get into the hot tub you literally have to climb up cinder concrete blocks vs. stairs. The directions were not very clear and because the hot tub is old to the buttons did not work and we ended up having to call the owner to come out and help us with the hot tub.Another thing that was a little bit frustrating was when we checked in the bathroom must have had a quick cleaning as the bath mat outside the shower was soaking wet, and there was mold on the shower curtain, which was again handled once we called the owner.The refrigerator can use a good cleaning too. The king bed in bedroom needs to be replaced and the recliner in the living room is broke.Unfortunately, I have never had issues renting, and not having expectations met when we vacation. This was disappointing, even though the owner was very receptive and kind, but in my opinion, you should not have to make phone calls things should be taken care of.

This was a great pet friendly cabin to stay in the Hocking Hills area.

The hot tub was clean and a nice perk. Steep drive in was a surprise, but we got used to it. Lovely and quiet.

This cabin was cozy and so pet friendly! My friend and I brought our dogs and it was so nice to not only have a fenced in back yard, but also a fully enclosed deck so they could be with us when we were in the hot tub too. The hot tub was clean and the house had everything we needed for our stay! Would definitely stay again!

Really nice, secluded cabin in the woods. Within 30 minutes of most things you’d want to do in Hocking Hills. Nice to have a pet friendly place to bring our dog, she absolutely loved running up and down the trails chasing balls and our kids loved riding their bikes all around the cabin. I definitely recommend!

This property is PERFECT if you are traveling with your dogs. It’s set up with secure fencing around the wonderful wrap around porch and a large potty area in the back. The hot tub was very clean and very relaxing. The cabin itself was very beautiful and inviting. The WiFi worked great. All in all a very enjoyable stay!!

I’m a repeat visitor. This cabin is cozy, clean, and exactly as pictured. It’s private and the trails are a fantastic amenity. I am sure I’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time! It was very quiet and surrounded by woods. There were two other cabins on the road and we were at the end. Hot Tub was very clean as well as the cabin. The host Nick was very helpful and addressed any questions I had.

Everything you would need for short stay was available. Very clean cabin. A little remote but once we drove in couple of times was fine. Road up to cabin needs gradin.

We really enjoyed the secluted space in the woods. It was quiet and peaceful on top of a hill. That being said, of its wet or snowy you would likely need awd. The only suggestion i would jave is that the owner upgrade the pots and pans.

Clean, cozy, secluded, and beautiful! We appreciated the easy communication with the owners, cleanliness of property, and location to parks. Our dog and kids loved the fenced in areas and toasting marshmallows at the fire pit. This cabin also offers wonderful stargazing!

Very clean. Just the right size for us and our dogs. Very quiet location too.

Check-in was easy with key in a lockbox. Owners were responsive to our texts and questions. Cabin is at the top of a steep gravel drive and the site was very private and quiet. It is very pet friendly. Loved that there were gates at both ends of the wraparound porch and one led to a fenced in yard, so your dog could roam freely on the deck with you. The pine interior walls were beautiful. Breakfast bar was handy.Not quite as advertised though. We were unable to use the pots and pans because of how damaged/scratched the nonstick surfaces were. There were no baking pans. The linens on the beds and towels were worn and torn in some places. There was no hairdryer; however, the landlord was very responsive and brought one quickly. No soap for the shower, just antibacterial hand soap on the sink. The bathroom closet door was propped up by a table; when we tried to look for the hairdryer, the door fell on us. There were trails advertised on the property, but no map or information as to length, trailhead, loop or not--a road overgrown with grass, not maintained. The appliances are functional but dated (rusty).

Great place to stay for those travelling with pets. Close enough to everything, far enough for seclusion.

The house was clean, spacious with comfortable beds, linens and great kitchen with all the essentials needed and a cozy hut tun for relaxing at the ends of the day visiting nearby hocking hills.

Very nice, clean,one story, 2 bedroom. Total privacy in the woods.Fenced in backyard and deck for pups. Doggy doors. Hot tub worked great. Gravel roads in were ok, but i don't know about winter time. No complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lincolnwood Cabin! We came to hike with our dog and nine-year-old son. Our dog loved the fenced-in porch and backyard and the doggie door. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We also enjoyed looking for Penny! The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and large and the WiFi was great. I would have liked a throw blanket in the living room as I am always cold, but other than that, everything was pretty well provided. Check-in was super easy.

We loved our stay! My girls, 9 and 12, loved searching for Penny (and hiding her again!) The property was exactly as expected, couldn’t ask for more! Thank you!

This was our second stay at this property and we enjoyed every minute of it despite all the rain we had while there. Our pup really enjoyed himself and was so worn out from running under the deck all day playing and finding rocks. We look forward to another stay in the future! I will note that while it is very clean, it could use a good deep clean as I noticed some build up in places like ceiling fans and window sills since we were inside a lot due to the weather, but by no means did it bother us.

We had a lovely stay! This property was perfect for our trip to Hocking Hills. It's very private and secluded, but also close to all of the hiking spots in the park as well as great restaurants in both Athens and Logan. The place is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and my partner and I will dream about the amazing water pressure in the shower for months to come. It was very nice to find the hot tub at the perfect temperature when we arrived (we've not been so lucky at other rentals) and our dog loved running around the deck. We did not get T-Mobile service at the cabin at all, (spotty cell reception is just a regional fact in the Hills), but the WiFi was great! Driving up and down the driveway hill was super fun! Just put it in Sport gear on the way up and Low gear on the way down. I giggled every time.

We had a great stay here at Lincolnwood over a long weekend. The space was clean and cozy. We really appreciated how private the space was, even though there were other cabins on the road, we didn’t see or hear the people there. We’ll stay here again when visiting the area!

Checking in to the property was EASY! The host sent all of the deails beforehand.This cabin is back a long driveway on a gravel road--although there are other cabin along the lane, it is secluded and private. The only negative is we found a pair of socks in the couch. But the host was very easy to get ahold of when we needed something! Overall, a GREAT choice!

We picked this property due to the seclusion and its pet friendly property. The fenced in yard and dog doors gave us a freedom our dogs are used to at home with the seclusion from city noise that we desperately needed. We got to relax and the hot tub was an added bonus! Would stay again!

Nice and relaxing

Everything was perfect! The cabin was very clean and well prepared for our arrival. Communication was clear on directions and access on code for keys. The bed was super comfy. The cabin was super dog friendly! The best part was the wrap around porch that was fully fenced and the little yard area that was fenced as well. It was nice to let the dogs hang outside with us with not having to worry about them escaping. The hot tub was also a great perk that worked very well. There was a nice little trail behind our cabin that we ventured to for a nice little hike with the dogs. No negatives! Looking forward to staying here again.

This was our third time staying at Lincolnwood Cabin and it definitely won’t be our last! It’s the perfect getaway and for us and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone!

My husband and I were in need of a quiet weekend with our dog away from all the stress. This cozy cabin was the exact experience we needed. When they say secluded, they really mean it. Set way up high on the ridge, we felt like we had a whole mountain to ourselves and we loved it. The set up was perfect for our dog as the porch was screened in and had gates to the front and back of the cabin, with a fenced in back yard. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The gas fireplace kept us warm and we snuggled in on the couch, watched movies, drank wine, and reset. The shower was amazing with great water pressure! We would book again!

Relaxing weekend. Husband and I and our pup had a great time hanging out. Hot tub was a great perk of this property. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

This property was perfect for our little family get a way. 2 adults and our 11 year old son. Very clean, owners have great communication. We enjoyed Athens which is a short 20-25 minutes away from the cabin. We woke up on our last day to a winter wonderland and wished we booked an additional day. Highly recommend and plan to go back. Our dog enjoyed the cabin and the coziness of feeling at home.

This was our second stay at Lincolnwood and it did not disappoint. Very clean and cozy for my husband, our pup and I. Has everything you need. Highly recommend for anyone bringing their furbaby Peace of mind knowing they’re safe on the deck and back yard while you relax in the hot tub. Love the solitude and quietness of this property. Our only complaint is McDaniel “road”….very rough. And the lane could use a little gravel as well but we realize that washes out. We still rave about this property and would definitely return. Thank you, Nick & Shannon! We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway!

Perfect getaway and bringing the dog was an added bonus. Perfect fenced in porch and back yard. The road heading to the cabin I would assume you might need 4 wheel drive to get up in the snow.

We stayed at your cabin so we could go to the Hocking Hills State Park. It was very convenient and a cozy place to stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Great secluded property. Plenty of space for 4 adults. The property is the last on the lane up the hill. The first turn is a little tricky but not a problem with some momentum. Peaceful and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed and the cabin was warm and cozy in some cooler temperatures. Firewood was there waiting for us as well. Amazing views of the stars without any light pollution. Will be back!

This was a great getaway for my husband and I! We loved staying there! The hot tub was our favorite part! I would definitely stay here again! We loved being out in the middle of nowhere and we still had pizza delivered to us lol! It was great!

We loved everything about the cabin! Was perfect for us and our 13.5 yr old blind Min Pin Nitro. We loved the gates, fenced porch and small fenced yard for him. So enjoyed front porch for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening! Especially enjoyed the on porch and under cover hot tub. Listened to the falling rain while relaxing in the tub. 20-30 mins to places to visit and local shopping. Not a problem for us. We definitely enjoyed the peace and quiet! Saw a few deer and some chipmunks scurrying about too. We hope to be back in 2025!

We had a great time. The cabin was exactly what we had hoped for. We were traveling with our 2 year and two dogs. The set up of the cabin worked really well for our needs, especially the small fenced area of the yard. Having a walking path on property was great for quick after dinner family walk. We had lots of privacy and it was super quiet. We will definitely be back.

Smaller cabin at the end of the road that was perfect for our mini vacation with our large dogs. The hot tub was great and the king bed was surprisingly comfortable. It was nice to have the fenced in area for the dogs and we enjoys the onsite trails.

Spent a few days hiking and exploring. The property is gorgeous. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Listing is very accurate and had even more! The trails on the property were a nice bonus. When we come back will for sure want to stay here again.
