Lazy Rocker Cabin at Green Mountain Lodge in the heart of NC Apple Country

A wonderful and cozy cabin! Was perfect for a weekend getaway with my family. Hosts were very welcoming and responded quickly.

Just stayed at Lazy Rocker Cabin and I can honestly say it was one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had.The owners were kind, responsive, and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. It truly felt like a home away from home.I traveled solo with Sage, and the peaceful setting gave her the space to settle and relax. She loved it.The deck alone is worth the stay, morning birdwatching with mountain serenity? Yes, please.We’ll definitely be back. If you’re considering it, do it. It’s worth the trip!

The Hosts are wonderful people! The location is close to EVERYTHING. Cabin is quaint and charming and in a wonderful setting. It was spotless, bed is comfy and we simply enjoyed every day we were there. We will definitely go there again. There is so much to do and see close by. Thank you, Benny and Landon, for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

It was conveniently located close enough to Sierra Nevada Brewery. It was a very cute home and clean.

This was such a perfect, secluded getaway cozy space and everything was clean and prepped to come. They were very responsive with questions I had and super nice! I felt right at home and so did my dog. They provided a lot of information to make it a peaceful stay. The porch is THE spot to relax. The location is perfect to enjoy all that Hendersonville offers. Thank you so much for a great stay, I will be back!

What a wonderful stay my friend and I had here while my daughter was at camp. Our home away from home. From the cabin, you can get to almost anywhere you want to go very easily. The owners are wonderful to work with. They are quick to help when needed.

Lazy Rocker Cabin was the perfect get away. The location was easy to get to off I-26 but far enough away to be away from urban noise. The sounds of birds in the morning, the twinkle of lightning bugs at dusk and the rain on the metal roof was just what we needed! Our puppy Daisy loved her walks on the property with plenty of sticks & leaves from all the trees to play with. All 3 of us loved the huge deck;we spent the majority of our time there. Shower water pressure was great! Comfortable bed with access to the deck was nice.Only thing we would change is offering a larger coffee pot than the 4 cup one. Especially when theres such a nice deck to enjoy morning coffee on.Thanks Landen & Ben for making us feel so welcome.

This cabin is perfectly situated with plenty of privacy. We had everything we could need and the host was great. Lots of windows give it an open feel. We even got a quick peek of a small bear passing through while we had breakfast on the deck. Lots of shade, so we were still able to enjoy sitting on the deck even in the middle of July. Comfortable, very clean, and close to things we wanted to do.

Very nice place to get away from the heat. Cool breeze. Very nice host. He came to meet us on our first day. Gave us good recommendations for restaurants & down downtown shopping in Hendersonville.

My husband and I stayed in late May for two nights. We enjoyed the cabin vs a motel room. Fully functional kitchen, living room, bathroom, and porch overlooking the woods. We did not mind that there was no Wi-Fi or cable TV. We played cards at night. Highly recommend the cabin and the hosts.

I am local to the area and needed a retreat for Mother of the Groom duties when my son got married. First point is location. This tidy cabin is tucked back in an orchard, pretty as a picture but so close to everything. The nearest grocery is only a few minutes up the road, Main St. Hendersonville is close by, and the secret back road to Asheville IS Terry's Gap Rd.( shhh! avoid I 26). The cabin is so nicely done, everything is cozy and clean. The porch was a favorite for relaxing, eating and just enjoying the rain hitting the tin roof. Bring bug spray and rain gear. The WIFI wavers- of course- it's the mountains. Even my hotspot wavered. The area is still recovering from Helene and I know over 500 utility poles had to be replaced just on this side of Henderson county- so download your playlists and prep any work for offline just in case. I give Grace for those who made it through the storm and are still being sweet. The kitchen had just the right amount of cookware and serving dishes to host my family for dinner or keep it simple when it was just me. Most importantly, my big dog was welcomed. Landen is very dog friendly and trains working dogs herself so my girl was allowed to be herself here. The orchards were so fun to explore and just knowing she was safe made relaxing so easy. Again, the porch was the place to relax with her. It is the perfect stay and we will be back!

Our stay was great from start to finish. Cabin was as described. The back deck is awesome! Wish we would have had more time to take advantage of sitting out there just relaxing! Landen was great. Great communication and easy to work with. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was smaller than it seemed in the pictures, the wifi/tv were very spotty, and the hot water was a problem.Also, there were no extra supplies, ie: trash bags, recycle bin, shampoo, no wrap or foil. I know these things aren't required but for the price we paid Ifeel like there should have been some supplies. We were given one tiny hotel bar soap and a sponge cut in half.The owners are on site and were very nice and the view was peaceful.All in all, it was not worth 150.00/night

The cabin was a cozy size, fantastic views from the covered porch. Will definitely remember for future visits to the area. Landon and Benny were easy to communicate with and kind hosts.

Overall great stay, had a blast in the Hendersonville/Asheville area. Only thing that stood out to me was that the hot water would run out pretty quick, but after waiting 30 minutes or so it would be back so not that big of a deal. The shower had great water pressure and everything worked well overall, great stay!

Everything was just as promised - quiet, peaceful, cozy. A wonderful little cabin that we enjoyed immensely!

This property is situated in a secluded area surrounded by beautiful nature. The property owners are quick to respond to your text messages or phone calls. Very friendly people. This was my second time renting this particular place and I am sure it will not be the last.

This was our second trip to the property in lovely Apple Valley area. Secluded setting was the perfect romantic getaway for us. Peaceful and restorative cabin, well equipped for cooking, enjoyed waking up to bird song, back porch overlooks an apple orchard and we reveled in sunset scenes including fireflies at night. There’s a winery on the other side of Green Mnt called Stone Ashe highly recommend exploring the area. Hendersonville is adorable, the painted bear statues, art galleries, restaurants and Pinball Museum are highlights along with nearby Brevard and hiking trails like Moore Cove Falls. Gifted a painting of the cabin to the owner, she is an amazing host and trips to her place are inspirational each time. Highly recommend treating yourself to this hidden gem, book it!!

Perfect amount of space for my husband and I and our dogs,with a well cared for pasture for off leash frolics. The hosts were pleasant and accommodating and made an excellent restaurant recommendation! 10/10
