The pictures are a lie! 20 minutes prior to check in they tell you to drive somewhere totally differently to get a key. That’s ridiculous! They don’t reimburse you for the time it takes/gas/wear and tare on your vehicle. There should be a digital keypad at the property to accommodate guests. Then when you do check it they provide a paper saying how dangerous the driveway is and not to use it. It is so high up on a steep hill that it’s near impossible to drive up the driveway. So they expect you to unload your vehicle at the bottom of the hill and climb up it with all your groceries and clothing. Not to mention we have an infant. There is a huge power line cutting through the middle of the property right next to the house and deck outside in reaching distance. And then when you finally reach the house IT SMELLS LIKE MOLD AND MILDEW AND IT VERY MUSTY!!! This property was deplorable. It was absolutely disgusting. Myself and our child did not enter as mold exposure can kill an infant. My husband said the bathroom had urine all over the floor along with dirty towels. So on top of the smell it wasn’t even clean. I would NEVER stay at any of their properties ever again for any reason!!!

Moonbeam was very clean, and kitchen well stocked with essentials. Hot tub and fire pit were great amenities for our stay. Would stay there again. Only non-issue was, there was no level ground for yard games that we had planned.

We have rented at least 30 cabins for various trips over the years. This is the first that offers a Welcome Book but the book was filled with rules, do's and don't's and what the penalties will be if a violation occurred. A little too much for responsible adults. In almost every room, there was a reminded of what you cannot do. The bedroom in the basement was extremely uncomfortable and noisy every time you turned or sat up. . This was the first cabin that offered no toiletries, and while I know no one ever advertises that the kitchen would include some basic provisions like, salt, pepper, etc. Almost all have a special place for spices and supplies that are left behind - not the responsibility of the owners, but certainly a nice gesture. For those that might spend their time in the lower level, you do not want to open the side windows because of the smell that comes from the aeriation system about 10 feet away. It's not the responsibility of the owners (again) but if we stayed in the winter when there were leaves on the trees, the view of the junk yard filled with disabled and rusted vehicles and other machinery is not what you would expect for a cabin get-away weekend. Compared to other cabins that we researched, the cost of this stay (for five people - two nights) would have suggested something a little more. Again, we're quite experienced with cabin living and the country atmosphere. The cabin was clean and otherwise attractive inside.

Plenty of space with extra living area in basement and we really enjoyed hot tub and firepit. Very large kitchen island which was great for thanksgiving cooking. Quiet, wooded lot, on side of hill. Note: Steep driveway and need to depend on wifi since too remote location for cell service.

So disappointed that the hot tub was not working properly. It was one of the things I was looking forward to. I contacted the owner and was told they would fix, but up to the morning of our departure, the water was Luke warm
