Lazy Bear Cabin

Great location. Beautiful upgrades since we stayed here 6 years ago. Excellent view from the porch and fire pit of Burke mountain. Bikes to the trails or to town. Quick communication with the local owner. We already booked for next year. We rented both neighboring houses for a large group.

The place is beautiful. And we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great spot for mountain biking

This rental was a fantastic home base for our trip. The kitchen was impressively well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like sharp knives, a variety of seasonings, and coffee and tea supplies—not something you often find in a rental. We loved the outdoor amenities, including a bike locker, bike wash station, cornhole, a fire pit, picnic table, grill, and a spacious wraparound deck with stunning views of Burke Mountain.The location couldn’t have been better, with easy bike access to both town and trails. Having a washer and dryer on site was a huge bonus after long days on the trail. Fun extras like a welcome stash of candy and a collection of mountain biking magazines made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the area in comfort.

My niece got married in East Burke, we stayed in your beautiful cabin. Everything was as you stated in the description. Had a great time and your cabin is absolutely beautiful.

The house was in a perfect, private location for our annual trip to KT. Enjoyed hanging out on the porch after riding and the firepit in the evening. My group of 6 were very happy with the property and amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our few weeks at the Lazy Bear cabin in East Burke, VT. Robin, our host, was extremely communicative and responsive. The house is well appointed with plenty of towels, nice sheets, comfy mattresses and pillows, and a very well stocked kitchen with sharp knives and nice cookware. The location of this property cannot be beat -- half way up E. Darling Hill Rd. makes for a convenient start to the ride or short climb back to the house after a long day of riding. The street was very quiet and peaceful, with deer in the yard and plenty of room for outdoor dining or fire pit. The bike storage shed was a huge bonus! All in all this property will not disappoint!
