Overall it was a good trip and enjoyed this place. It was fairly clean although there were a few areas that seemed like they hadnt been cleaned for a long time (game room, couches, and oven). It has updated appliances, bathrooms, and lovely decor. Enjoyed this place a lot, especially the ability to use sleds and other snow equipment already in the cabin.

The property is beautiful! The hosts and service people even better! We had trouble with an appliance and they had it replaced within 24 hrs!It’s well appointed and has tons of great activities. Couldn’t ask for better! Fantastic!

Beautiful fun cabin for the family. Modern updates and comfortable family stay.

We appreciated the property, the location, and the access to the outdoor amenities at Big Trees Village. The location is 5 minutes from Calaveras Big Trees state park. There are tons of sequoias and great trails. Big Tree Village had 2 pools, pickle ball, bocce ball, Frisbee golf, basketball, four square, shuffle board, foosball, ping pong, and probably more. They do close at 5 most days which seemed kind of early, but we still enjoyed it. Also Big Tree Village is not in walking distance, just to let others know.We spent a day at Yosemite and a day at Lake Tahoe.The game room under the garage kept my sons busy. The owners were quick to respond when the a/c was not working properly and had it fixed the same day. I will mention a few MINOR issues/ complaints. The screen door in the living room was bent and didn't open/ close well. The sliding glass doors in the bedrooms didn't have screens so we were unable to open those in the evening. The queen bedroom didn't have a window, so a screen on the door would have been great. The listing was a bit misleading for the bedroom with bunk beds. It looked like there were 2 sets of twin bunk beds in the listing, but there is only one set of twin bunk beds, a twin trundle bed and a futon. (This was sufficient for our needs so this didn't affect us, I'm just pointing it out.) Both showers were not enclosed. They were each open so that it would get a bit cold while showering. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend! THANKS : )

We especially enjoyed the huge jetted bathtub to unwind after hiking (and parenting). The game room is a great bonus to the house and is fully stocked with games and books for all ages of kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need (which is often not the case for rental cabins). We will definitely try to book again in the future!

We visited for a long weekend after a late Spring snowstorm brought good snowshoe conditions to the area. This cabin is absolutely amazing; spotlessly clean, stylish, with a fantastic kitchen upstairs and a full spa-like bathroom downstairs (perfect for a long tub soak after a day on the trails). There is a gameroom with all the fun things you could want; we were just two but I imagine a family would have big fun here too. It was a perfect getaway; thanks for this gorgeous space and I hope we'll be back!
