The cabin was perfect for me and my husbands anniversary trip.Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Loved the big windows and porches. Nice outdoor area with hot tub. Not far outside of blue ridge and we enjoyed the scenery while we made the drive in and out.

This place is a 10. Great for a romantic getaway. The cabin is wonderful and is close to Blue Ridge. Great restaurants and shops. The hot tube was great to relax and enjoy the night stars. Just a very relaxing 3 days with no phnes, tv, or computer's.

Very cute, cozy, and charming little cabin. We appreciated the cleanliness of the property. It's not as large in size as the pictures show but it is large enough, also not as secluded as we thought which was fine. It's approximately 15 minutes into town. Lots to do in the Blue Ridge and Blairsville area. Eat breakfast at The Sawmill Place, hike to Brasstown Bald (see 4 states at one time), stop by Alexander's Everything Under the Sun for shopping, shop the town of Blue Ridge, take a train ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and have lunch on the river at Burra Burra and visit the stateline to stand in two places at one time (Georgia & Tennessee), stop by Sweet Emmaline's for cheesecakes that are heaven sent, and have dinner at Enrico's Italian Restaurant. The only thing I would recommend is a more comfy bed and a larger coffee pot. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.

Doug and Veronica are the absolute best hosts!! The cabin is perfect & always exactly what we look forward to each year that we stay. Quiet & private, but a close drive to nearby Murphy and Blue Ridge. Our favorite place is in the hot tub at night, watching the stars. We can’t say enough good things about this place!

Everything was so well maintained and it was nice having a washer/dryer!!!! We felt that the area was perfect to travel between all the cute little mountain towns close by. Would definitely stay here again!

We couldnt have been happier with the location, halfway between Copper Basin and Blue Ridge (15-20 mins each way). The weekends weather (rain) didnt allow us to enjoy the outdoor amenities. A perfect site for a romantic weekend getaway for 2!!!

The cabin was excellent! Very convenient, spotless, bed was awesome. There were so many wonderful details. It felt larger than a one a one bedroom! I would love to go again!

The cabin was very nice all modern kitchen appliances one bedroom that's open to the living room. Beautiful scenery lots of Wildlife. Comfortable and cozy.

Very neat and clean, like a brand new cabin. Great Wi-Fi access. Seems like it’s 30 minutes or less to a lot of wonderful activities and other small towns. All appliances were spotless and in great working condition.

We had a wonderful time relaxation and rejuvenation at this 2 person cabin! The property is secluded, but is also close (15-20 minute drive) to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive, and check-in/check-out were simple. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great short drive to blue ridge and a little over an hour drive to cherokee we loved everything about the cabin

This location was chosen for its proximity to grandchildren. We were able to have a memorable visit with them and then quiet time for my husband who is battling stage IV lung cancer.

Laurel Escape was very relaxing, clean, and has very nice details. We saw some kind of weasel, lots of deer, a bear, lots of birds, and the neighbors have some pretty horse. Being there puts you in a good mood upon arrival. The hot tub was very nice, everything we needed was in the kitchen, laundry, high quality appliances. It was like staying in a peaceful treehouse all week.

This romantic cabin getaway was everything we hoped for—extremely clean, well-located, and stocked with all the essentials for a stress-free retreat. The modern rustic design was stunning, both inside and out, and the cabin looked exactly like it did in the listing. It's also a great location for nearby outings and events.However, the biggest downside was the bed. Unfortunately, it was incredibly firm—so much so that we woke up with severe back pain and body aches. By our final night, we even purchased a mattress topper from Walmart and put on top of the sheets, but it barely helped. Exhausted, we ended up completing the checkout list at dawn to head home early.If the mattress were upgraded, this cabin would be absolutely perfect. Until then, we’d hesitate to book again, but for those who prefer an extra-firm bed, this place is a dream!

This cabin was perfect for our romantic Valentine's Day weekend getaway! Very clean and quaint. Well stocked with all of the utensils and linens we needed. We will definitely be back!

I surprised my wife for our 5th wedding anniversary with a weekend here. The traditional wedding gift for 5 years is wood, so a cabin in woods was perfect! The cabin was awesome! Clean, quiet, perfect sized for a couple, we'll decorated and well stocked with kitchen tools. Thanks again for a great weekend,

The house was very clean and I loved the set up. The hot tub was really nice and we enjoyed using it! It was quiet and relaxing. We also loved going into the little towns close by to get yummy food and walk around. The Black Sheep restaurant had delicious food!

We stay in this cabin for a week every fall. It’s out of the way, but still within driving distance of places of interest. Everything is perfection with this property and host! From the time you book your getaway, until you’re writing your review of your stay, everything goes smoothly and perfectly!! There is attention to every detail. The cabin is spotless with lots of natural light. The hot tub is super clean and relaxing! We grill out every night on the charcoal grill provided. We enjoy a fire in the fire pit while watching the stars from the warmth of the hot tub. It’s all just so peaceful and perfect.

This little cabin was perfect our stay was awesome was equipped with everything we needed surprised my boyfriend with this little cabin on his birthday. He absolutely loved it he said best birthday ever.we would absolutely stay again thank you so much

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend. We have always enjoyed our stay at this sweet cabin. It is a very private and quiet location. The host is great and quickly responded to all our questions or concerns. Great place and wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect little gateway! We loved it!!

We had a nice anniversary trip stay at this cabin. It was a private location and not much traffic from the main road. We went to Blue Ridge, walked the shops, and ate at a pizza restaurant away from the main crowd. It was great. We brought a steak back with us from Ingles and enjoyed a few nice meals together at the cabin. Not much area to walk around the cabin but we found quite a few trail options to drive to. You might want to bring your own coffee and shampoo for those who might expect some there already. Enjoyable hot tub, and fire pit. Relaxing view. Adding to the list of memories from a nice VRBO.

We appreciated the comfort of this living quarters. It was clean. I suggest that the owners place a more visible house number along the road. We drove past the home using Wave application. The driveway was not clear from the road...

The cabin was clean, well furnished, and private. My one suggestion would be a 12 cup coffee maker, lol. We would definitely stay here again.

Well designed cabin. Quiet and restful. Feels isolated, but isn’t. Enjoyed both porches, watching birds, deer and cat, who slept on the porch.

We enjoyed sitting in the jacuzzi as well as the screened in porch.
