Stayed Sep 28, 2025We had a sibling reunion at the Lodge. It was amazing.Family in from TX, CA, MI and WI. All of us in our 70's.We enjoyed the property. Lots of space to spread out.Used the exercise room and pool table too!Short walk to town shops and restaurants, that was also nice.

Stayed Aug 23, 2025One quibble. It is not really a four bedroom. It is three bedroom, sleeps 8. The bed in the loft is much more exposed than we expected, and had no dresser or closet. It really was the equivalent of having a fold out couch as opposed to a fourth bedroom.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log cabin. We used the gas firepit every night. Great location. It was an easy walk to anywhere in Egg Harbor. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. It was well equipped for anything you might need. We would definitely stay at this log cabin again.

Stayed Aug 17, 2025The Larsen Lodge is such a lovely place. I've never stayed in a home that was so well-provisioned and everything so new. An easy walk to downtown as well as the waterfront. Even the grocery store is just a quick walk away.Looking forward to staying again.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025This was the cleanest and most well-stocked of all the homes we have stayed in! The bag of “extras” I always bring remained untouched! The proximity to restaurants, shopping, cocktails, and public beach allowed us to leave our vehicles parked. We went cherry picking, had a wonderful prime rib dinner at Donny Glidden Lodge, checked our local parks, and rented a pontoon for a day cruising along the coast. Door County did not disappoint for this three generation family vacation. AND coming home to Larson Lodge’s comfortable beds, giant deck space, and sauna was the cherry on top! Thank you for helping us create wonderful family memories in comfort!

Stayed Jul 28, 2025It is a beautiful rustic but modern property inside and out, that is meticulously maintained and was extremely clean. Very attractive and well designed indoor and outdoor living area areas. The owner Paul was accessible as well as very helpful and accommodating. We loved staying in Egg Harbor with plenty to do locally and good access to neighboring areas of Door County. Also, try the Swedish bakery less than a block away. This is a place we all agreed we would love to come back to again.

Stayed Oct 9, 2024This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever been in and we have been in a few over the years. There is pride shown in the workmanship throughout this home. The property is perfectly located for access to the towns center. We could walk to town in 5 minutes and be in the center of the shops and restaurants. Our age group was in the middle 60’s. The wood floors, walls and slab logs through out the property provided a warmth to the home. There is an abundance of room on the main floor, kitchen and living space with large bathrooms in the three main bedrooms along with a large guest bath on both the main floor and the lower floor where the sauna, workout area and pool room are located. The laundry area was spacious and had plenty of products supplied to use. An outside deck with a gas controlled fireplace, grill and flat grille which is private and pleasant to lounge at. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils along with a dining area adjacent. This is just a very thought out and comfortable place to stay. We loved it.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024The house was perfect, well maintained, and in a great location. We had some issues with check-in because the wrong door code was programmed in. It was not a big deal; it was a human mistake. The property manager kept trying to blame us throughout the trip, which just ended up bugging us rather than apologizing and moving on. We didn't care, but it was a great house. I wish the loft bed was in the office, though.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024Walk to coffee shops, restaurants and shops and the beautiful lakefront from this new, very clean and well-kept home. The back deck was quiet and felt like we were in the woods; perfect for day and night relaxing around the firepit. 3 bedrooms with very comfy beds and en-suite bathrooms. 4th bed is in the loft but bathroom is on main level. Basement billiard table, workout room and sauna, as well as another bathroom. Kitchen is well-stocked and bags of ice in the freezer were greatly appreciated. Excellent communication from host and extensive communication binder with everything we needed to know. Cleaning fee, service fees and taxes added up to be the same as another night stay, so the only downside of renting this house. Darn fees from VRBO. We had a great time at this beautiful home in very convenient location.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024We had a family of 8 staying at the property, two of which were 4yo & under. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of space. Each bedroom, apart from the loft bed, had a full ensuite bath. There is a full washer and dryer which was so nice to have with two littles. The place was very clean and clean and comfortable. Stayed Jul 17, 2024This place couldn’t have been any better. Location was perfect, wasn’t on the water but we could walk to the water, walk to shopping, grocery store and dinner. We loved it. Beautiful deck for evening cocktails, morning porch for coffee. Everyone had their own walkin shower in a huge bathroom. Would love to stay here again. Kitchen large and open as well. Table was large enough for several great games!!!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024The Larson Lodge was perfect for our stay with three couples and one six year old. Beds were comfortable, rooms dark, AC worked great, kitchen had everything we needed. We hosted aunts and uncles for a cookout and the house was great. Location was walkable to downtown Egg Harbor attractions and the harbor. About 15 min walk to beach. Central spot for driving to other Door County attractions. We lovely hanging out on the back deck.

Stayed Jun 6, 2024We stayed here for 4 days and had a group of 8 adults. The house was so nice and was well stocked. We loved the sauna, pool table, and fire pit. We walked to Shipwrecked for dinner and to Mezzanine to watch the sunset and get a drink. The house felt secluded but was also within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. The house was so clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We had the best time and we recommend the house to anyone looking to come to door county!
