Large Cozy Cabin in Asheville Area Mountains

Nice property - Well equipped - Beautiful cabin. Very quaint area. Water is a little yellowish due to the high mineral content & showers were slippery due to that. Lighting was a little low in the cabin.

We had a great time at this cabin. My family of 10 enjoyed the weekend. It was clean, we used the kitchen every night. Enjoyed the hot tub it fit 7 of our 10 nicely.The listing does say 6 bedrooms however it is 3 bedrooms, a loft, and 2 sleeping areas in the game room and living room. We made the absolute best of it and had no issues. We had an overall great experience and happy this cabin was available to have the memories we made.

Great place to stay

Beautiful cabin, spacious for family and gorgeous views from the porch. We loved seeing the deer passing through the woods during the day. Only complaint was the heating situation was inconsistent, some parts of the house were significantly colder than the other. Hard to get a consistent temperature. Otherwise we had a great time!

Overall was a great stay. Outdoor space was great and house interior was good. There are only three actual bedrooms and a loft. It worked for our group but on the site lists 6 bedrooms and that’s inaccurate. But it’s still a great 3 bedroom and loft house. Great kid space in and out.

Beautiful home and setting. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Long gravel driveway that we were able to navigate with cars.

We stayed here for a wedding weekend. Liz was super accommodating and the checkin/checkout process was easy. The only glitch for us was the water pressure. We were there for a wedding, so showers were crucial. The Lazy Bear Lodge is on a well system and that system impacted the pressure for showers. At one point it went to a trickle. Liz offered to have their well company come out, but by the time they could get there we would be gone. I wouldn’t let the pressure keep you from staying here, just plan accordingly. It’s a beautiful setting.

Absolutely beautiful property. Well maintained. So peaceful and quiet. Loved the seclusion of the property.

Fantastic property and accommodating, very nice, and flexible hosts. The fire pit and back porch areas were the family favorites. The surrounding trees are beautiful. Only minor notes are that it is really 3 bedrooms, one with an attached sleeping bunk loft. While there are other sleeping areas in the house, they aren’t true bedrooms. The road in was also a bit of a surprise as it is a bumpy gravel road, we were ok with this, but one family member had a nicer sedan that they were nervous about driving on the road with. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

We really enjoyed the cabin . It was decorated so cute. I think the description was a little misleading though. It describes it as a 6 bedroom and it’s actually a three bedroom with a loft. The beds worked out well but the last two bedrooms were pull out sofas. We loved the outside fire and our family had a great time.

We greatly enjoyed our time. The cabin was clean and had plenty of room for our family.

This cabin is gorgeous! The details in all the rooms are so fun and interesting. Beds were very comfortable, and it is spotless. The owner landscaped before our visit and the gardens were very pretty. 15 min drive to Asheville. The Ingles grocery store is 5 minutes away is huge and has everything you may need. The owners were prompt with a hot tub issue and came right over to fix it. I can't say enough about this beautiful property. Book it today, Asheville is back!!

Lots of beds and cozy living area. Great amenities. Fire pit and large hot tub made the experience extra amazing. Would come back! Host Liz was extremely easy to get a hold of and to work with. Great host!
