We often take our two little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly.
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to downtown Berkeley Springs – literally a 5 minute walk away. Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, and has fantastic breweries, restaurants, and shops for you to enjoy!
Everyone in our family, unbelievably, had a few days off at the same time so we decided to do a quick mini vacation to Berkeley Springs. We have been to BS a few times but never in the winter, and while the town is pretty sleepy in the winter there are still plenty of restaurants and always bowling! The cottage was super cozy and warm. There were board games and a hot tub, so we didn't need much else. There is only one TV in the house so, ideally, it could use another, but it didn't really matter. There were a few inches of snow on the ground so it was beautiful everywhere! It did make for a narrow little road though so just be aware if you're taking a winter trip. Overall, a nice place to stay. Property owners are super communicative.
Property was ok, but not very clean, and pictures didn’t show damage to walls. Hot tub did not work and was dirty
It was a nice getaway for the weekend Close enough to town but too hard a hill for me to walk up. Not enough chairs at the table for the number of people in our group. otherwise a good place
We chose this place for the hot tub. It was an amazingly quiet place just to relax and let all your worries just be gone for the weekend. We enjoyed everything that they offered. The beds were extremely comfortable and pillows were perfect. My only complaint was full size beds should never be placed against a wall. Two people need access to getting in and out of bed. We still really enjoyed our stay and would revisit.
