Amazing place! Great host
We stayed for a week while our own home was undergoing some renovation. The cabin is clean, cozy and comfy. Unfortunately, we were there the wrong time of year to enjoy the lake. It is a very quiet, peaceful, clean place to be. We definitely enjoyed our stay
Nice, Quaint, Cute
Beautiful, clean and private. The indoor fireplace was a bonus!
Came back to this property after a fun stay last year. Had a good time again this year. Addition of kayaks since last year was a hit with our group. Also enjoyed the new rowboat. With the paddleboats there were lots of options for being on the water. Nice outdoor space and lots of games to choose from in the cabin. Kitchen is a little tight. Host answers questions quickly. Would recommend this property to others.
Great place to stay. Everything is in good shape and the lake is close to the cabin. Especially like the walkout. Very peaceful and private
Clean. Easy to work with.
Peaceful is the only way to explain this property. House was 100% as described in listing. We had plenty of room and everything we needed was supplied. But we didn't spend much time in the cabin. We spent most of our time in the water or by the amazing fire pit by the lake. The lake was like glass every night and we enjoyed listening to the loons and the sandhill cranes. The lake is smaller but it was like it was our own. The kids were able to paddle board and kayak where ever they wanted to on the the lake. Without fear of boaters or jet ski's. The swim platform was also a huge bonus for them to relax on. Fishing was good the kids caught several big large mouth bass and in the evening caught some10-11 inch crappies along the weed lines. This was a great stay and I highly recommend it.
Great experience. Secluded and quiet. Great fishing at Little Dummy and surrounding lakes. Kids had lots of fun with swimming and kayaking and sand box. Would definitely recommend this place.
Peaceful setting on the water, used the swimming raft paddle boats, row boats, and kayak’s. A fun relaxing time. Tracy is a Great Host.
This was the second time ive stayed at this property and both times it was nothing but spectacular. It a super quiet area all the people are friendly and most importantly the host is wonderful. Cant wait to visit again!
Nice place and very well managed. Everything you needed was provided. Nice view of the lake with plenty at night. Very quiet and relaxing.
We were here two years in a row for Memorial weekend. The lake is great as well as the cabin. Well stocked and very clean. The owner thinks of little extras that make the time more enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed the vintage magazines and games.
We stayed for three nights between Christmas and New Year’s Day. It was a quiet and peaceful setting and perfect place to wrap up the year with family. The fireplace provided ambience and warmth while the bar area supported an engaging visit. The kitchen was fully functional and dining area just right for our party of six. The bedrooms very comfortable and peaceful. Instructions were very clear and communication with properly manager was timely and complete. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Beautiful well maintained and clean property. 5 stars
Good
Everything was great. I can not think of anything I would change. We already booked for next year.
Nice quiet place with a great backyard. I wish we would have brought more yard games. Beautiful small lake that was great for paddle boarding. Had a great time with my family.
We had a great few days at Racoon Rental with our 4 generational family of 10. The weather was perfect to spend most of the time on the lake or in the expansive backyard. If it had been chilly or wet we may have needed to find somewhere to explore in town for a little while as there isn't a lot of space inside the cabin, but it still works out well (a small living room upstairs and small family room/bar/tv area downstairs). The beds were comfortable and soft. There were plenty of towels, outdoor chairs, lifejackets and even some tubes. The kitchen has a crockpot, can opener, some spices, blender, a great selection of pots & pans, and a handmixer among other things. The stove is not full sized - there are 4 electric burners on the top, but the oven probably wouldn't be able to hold 2 9x13 pans at the same time, in case that matters to your preparation plans. There was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels provided, the house was very clean, and the water isn't sulfury - a big plus on a WI lake! The bedrooms have plenty of places to plug in devices as well, also not always easy to find in a cabin! All in all it was a great visit and we recommend this cabin (and hope to return next summer).
Easy in/out
Cozy cabin for any type of stay. Cabin layout and lakefront is perfectly designed to accommodate a full family fun experience. Host was wonderful to work with.
We had a great time at the cabin. We love the improvements made outside from our previous trip. The cell service is limited which the parents loved, it forced the kids to put electronics down. The kids spent hours outside fishing, riding the paddle boat, and in the row boat. We all swam in the lake and enjoyed the beautiful view. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire at night making s’mores. Be prepared for tons of sand! We tried our best to leave it outside. The cabin layout was perfect for us. The kids in the bunk room and the adults upstairs. We loved the view from the bedroom upstairs! The fridge and stove are on the smaller side. We utilized the bar fridge downstairs and coolers for drinks. We had a great time and hope to return in the future.
Very nice cabin Relaxing Great place for Adults and kids!
Easy in and out process. Lovely property and lake.
Very well equipped cabin with plenty to do.
The view is just beautiful. The cabin is well stocked. Everything was very nice. I would love to come back again.
The quiet and privacy of this cabin was perfect for us. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the surroundings. Booking was easy and fast and the checkout process was simple and direct. We greatly appreciate the use of the property and look forward to booking in the future.
