We had a wonderful weekend in Mars Hill! This was our second stay at the house—our first was over 10 years ago. We enjoyed the covered porches, and cooked a number of meals in the kitchen. It was a comfortable stay for our group, and we will likely book a stay again in the future.

It was a rough start but it was an incredible experience. We enjoyed every minute. Mornings on the back porch were so soothing and you never want to leave. The “boys” big and small loved the fishing. It was a wonderful experience. The hostess was very kind and always helpful.

Spent a great week here for Spring break. Great location. Our favorite bed was the hanging bed on the porch. Very soothing sounds of nearby water. Very big open kitchen with plenty of space to cook. Book this place you won't regret it!

We spent a cozy family Christmas at this spacious cabin outside of Asheville/Mars Hill. The cabin was easy to find, the hot tub was a favorite of the family, internet worked just fine for a cabin, and we had an enjoyable week- long stay.Only issues with the space were that the place needs a good cleaning, which might have been still delayed due to regional hurricane clean up. We also might recommend a set of instructions for how best to use their specific fireplaces as we are admitted novices and couldn’t figure it out despite the assistance of how-to videos so didn’t get to enjoy that part of the stay.Overall a nice place where our family enjoyed a memorable holiday.

Beautiful home and area. Home was as described in the listing. Our crew fit perfectly with plenty of extra space. The cute cafe/store 5 minutes from the property was also wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin. Neighbors weren't super close so you did have some fun. The hike up the road was always fun. Host was responsive and kind. One thing that is out of their control that was a bit of a headache was the trash. Wish there was a large bin we could put it in. Trash on sunday was also a bit of a headache. Overall, great and incredible property, maintained, and unique!

This cabin was a fantastic spot for our family of eleven to stay for our first vacation with all our children, their partners, and our grandchildren. The cabin is gorgeous, unique, and filled with beautiful details. The large kitchen and living room were gathering places for deep discussions, games, meals, and fun. There was also enough space for everyone to have privacy. We watched the stars at night, cooked meals together, and reconnected in deep ways. We were close enough to drive to incredible hiking, rafting, and sites in Ashville. We had an unforgettable time as a family.
