Lakeside Ranch Cabin.

Beautiful views, host was was quick to answer. Property needs updates. Not very clean and hot tub very old so not much function with jets. Would love to see in fall but not likely to return.

It was a nice weekend away. Hot tub was clean and a nice touch.

Furnace did not work upon arrival, Terry worked very quickly to remedy the problem Cabin could use some updating but very well managed

This property is wonderful. The outdoor space is perfect and allows for ample access to enjoy your surroundings. Check-in was beyond easy and the space was set up with everything we needed for our stay. The lake water was a little murky, but it seems it depends heavily on which way the wind is coming from, just like any other body of water. Overall, we definitely recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

The property was great and we had a lovely experience. The hosts were responsive when we had questions.The only note I had was that the cabin wasn't quite as secluded from the other cabins as I was expecting, but that may have been on me and how I perceived the information. Also, the cabin is self serve which would have been nice to know before booking. It wasn't a problem for us, but may be for people traveling long distances or with a large load in their car.Overall though, it was a perfectly relaxing babymoon weekend for us which is exactly what we were wanting.

Great location and atmosphere. The kitchen was adequate for our needs, and we loved the hot tub every evening. The lawn was cut fresh, the lake was nice, the decking added nostalgia. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lovely time at The Ranch! There was an odor in the cabin when we first arrived but it was taken care of quickly and graciously by the host and his team. We had a great time grilling on the deck and the hot tub was an excellent addition. We will definitely be back again!

We arrived at the property and it looked OKThe pond was disgustingThe boats didn’t workThe house was most infested we contacted the owners and left on Monday morning asking for a refund.No communication back from them whatsoeverWe haven’t heard from themWe will never run from them again and expect some type of refund for not staying in a most infested placeWe opened the package of cookies and set them on the counter in 15 minutes later there was mouse turds in them

The Ranch is located in a quiet and private area and has multiple outdoor seating areas at the house. These felt private and comfortable near the water and with wooded surroundings. For the house, expect older components. The bathroom, windows, screen doors, kitchen appliances, and hot tub are older as well as the decor. We had no issues with this but it may be helpful to enter with that expectation. The lake was very covered with algae and not appealing to us to enter. We did take the row boat out once for a quick paddle around the lake. There was an outdoor smell near the fire pit and hot tub that was either due to the proximity to the garbage bins or from an animal in the woods.Overall, our stay at the Ranch was relaxing and we appreciated nature and the closeness to Tomah. My husband found biking around the area and to La Crosse enjoyable and easy to navigate.

Great stay just not for kids. Lake is a pond and it is full of snapping turtles.

The cabin was clean and very nice and as described. Any questions i had were answered immediately through email. There was no check-in process. We did not meet anyone. When we asked for help with the paddle boat a worker immediately came.There was a smell like sulfur in the cabin. We determined it was from the well water. There were scented candles on the mantle. The hot tub water was slightly green the first day, Tuesday, and clear the second day. There was no chlorine in the hot tub. It smelled like the well water. The most dissappointing part was that the lake was green like pea soup. We did not swim. There is an aerator in the center of the lake but it seems ineffective. The cabin was nicely furnished, the bed comfortable, the bathroom modern and very clean. The path to the cabin was a mix of stones and bricks and was too uneven for my disabled husband to walk safely. The internet was poor. The satellite TV did not work during the storm or rain. Otherwise, it worked fine. The washer and dryer were a nice convenience.

Bad smell in the house

This place is such a beautiful little gem. We needed to get out of Chicago for a few days and this was the perfect spot to do that! I highly recommend!

Relaxing.

Terry and his team were great , love the location even with the cold. Percent to focus on work in the peace and quiet. they were very accommodating and responsive , look forward to staying here again .

Our trip was enjoyable and relaxing. The cabin was quant and clean and comfortable. My boyfriend wanted to ice fish in a lake, but this is really a pond. It was not frozen, but we still enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing together. We took a drive into Tomah and went to the cheese shop and antique store. The area of the cabin was pretty and there was a nice trail to walk. The whole area was safe and peaceful!

The location is beautiful! The cabin is a great size and needs more basic amenities. We did contact the host in regards to blood on mattress covers and a comforter.. this was not remedied until the next day. We had to try to use the spare bedding that was clean to still use the sofa sleepers. Other than that, being unsanitary, the rest of the little things we worked with. Need to bring everything from home for your stay (toilet paper, dish soap, scrub brush, towels, hand soap..etc)
