Summary:

Tucked into the rolling hillsides surrounding the stunning spring-fed majesty of Central Ohio’s Stone Lake, the newly constructed Stone Lake Lodge is ready to become your fantasy getaway destination. Spend your day reeling in a trophy bass from our fully stocked pond or viewing a whitetail fawn at play. As night falls, spend your evening with a glass of wine enjoying a camp fire under the stars. Relax in the hot tub or just sit back and experience the sounds of the greatoutdoors.

The Space:

Our goal was to match the splendor of nature with the deluxe accommodations of this 5-star experience indoors. Our open, loft-style floor plan is spacious, with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the lake. Technology has its place, too, and you’ll enjoy catching the big game on our 70-inch HD television or having an exciting time reliving your childhood in our video game arcade. Our gourmet kitchen is the perfect place to cook a romantic dinner for two, and our Amish built table is large enough to accommodate the whole family.

Stone Lake Lodge is perfect for private time with your special someone, but can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. Whether you desire a quiet weekend alone, or a fun time with family and friends, Stone Lake Lodge is the ultimate fantasy getaway destination.

Your log cabin getaway awaits…

Guest Access:

The entire cabin, Stone Lake, fire pit, and hot tub are for private use of Stone Lake guests only.

Nature trails and observation blinds are shared with guests of Stone Lake Lodge and Coshocton Crest Lodge.

The Neighborhood:

Coshocton, Ohio, is a small, historic city located in the east-central part of the state, about 80 miles northeast of Columbus. With a population of around 11,000 people, it offers a quaint, small-town atmosphere steeped in history and natural beauty.

Coshocton is best known for its role in Ohio’s early history, especially as a crossroads for Native American and European settler cultures. The area was originally inhabited by Native American tribes, including the Lenape, and later became a significant site during the Ohio frontier period. The city's name itself is derived from the Shawnee language, meaning the place of the black bear.

A key feature of Coshocton’s charm is its well-preserved historical sites. The city is home to the Roscoe Village, a restored 19th-century canal town that showcases life during the Ohio & Erie Canal era. Visitors can explore historic buildings, ride canal boats, and learn about the region’s industrial past. The Coshocton County Memorial Hospital and nearby parks add to the area’s community-centered feel.

Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy Lake Park, a scenic area with trails, picnic spots, and recreational activities. The nearby Mohican State Park and Killbuck Marsh provide additional opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, and other nature-based activities.

Coshocton also celebrates its rich cultural heritage with events like the Coshocton County Fair, which highlights local farming traditions, as well as seasonal festivals and craft fairs. The city's tight-knit community is known for its warmth and hospitality, making it an inviting place for visitors and residents alike.

While small in size, Coshocton offers a blend of history, nature, and a relaxed rural lifestyle, making it a peaceful destination in the heart of Ohio.

Host was extremely responsive to messages and always willing to help or answer any questions. I LOVE that you did not have to clean it before you left unless you wanted to. In my opinion, we pay the cleaning fee for a reason. Other short stay rentals I’ve visited require a cleaning fee and require the home be broom swept prior to leaving. The cabin was beautiful and cozy with a great view.
