Lakeside Cabin - Hot Tub, Firepit, Kayak, Arcade

Was beautiful and very relaxing!

We stayed at the Lake House for Thanksgiving and it was really a special time. The house is well- appointed, comfortable, immaculate, and welcoming, with more than enough room for my wife, three kids, and mother-in-law. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for enjoying our T-Giving meal, with a fire going in the background, and a nice fall view of the lake and trees surrounding the home. My boys (and I) loved the arcade room. A lot of thought and TLC went into that room and we felt it ( the whole house really). The games were fun for my boys and a nastalgic gift for me--hadnt played games like Street Fighter, Contra, Mario 2, or Battle Toads in thirty years. So fun to enjoy with my boys! Lot to play in the arcade room! The bedrooms were super clean and comfortable( as was the whole house). I've never slept on more comfortable pillows.The hot tub was a big hit, too, and the contrast of cool/cold seasonal air with the hot water made it really relaxing. I enjoyed sitting in the tub, watching the last of the fall leaves float to the ground, and feeling a slight river/bay breeze tickle my brow. The lake in the back yard was quite scenic as well--it was frequented by a brace of Mallards, prettty talkative at times, and a lone Blue Heron, who seemed to like to perch at various places around the lake. The walk to the river was nice and the river sunsets were beautiful! Julie is a great host, accomodating, kind, amd responsive. Thank you, Julie!

This property is one of the nicest I have stayed in. The hostess was very easy to communicate with and checked in throughout the stay to ensure everything was going well. Everything is exactly as pictured and was spotless and in good working condition. My only problem is that I didn't stay long enough to use every amenity! We REALLY appreciated the coffee supplies and fully stocked kitchens and baths. The hot tub was lovely as was the SUP and kayak. And yes the porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Thank you for a lovely family getaway.

Lake house was beautiful. Loved the lakefront view and out door fire pit! The screened porch was perfect for morning coffee and night time cocktails. Everyone enjoyed some family time and loved the game room.

Beautiful home with comfortable fire pit, hot tub, screened in bug free porch, kayak & paddle board for water enjoyment and a fabulous game room for kids of all ages. Beautiful day so we just hung out at the house and enjoyed all the amenities it had to offer. I highly recommend.

Julie is an amazing host. Communicative, attentive and generous. The property is perfectly decorated and very clean! The kitchen is well stocked with knives, plates, cups and pans for convenience. Even kitchen knives were sharpened and ready for use. Plenty of clean, fluffy towels for use. Laundry room had not one, but 2 dryers to get our swimsuits and towels separately dried. Location is close to pier fishing and the pool. We love the little pier out back to the pond and the firepit with tealights out back was just lovely for memory making with the kids with s'mores every night. I couldn't get the boys away from the arcade room downstairs! Actually, forget the boys, the dads were too much into the nostalgic games every night after dinner. This house has everything and more. HIghly recommend.

Stay was a perfect retreat and compliment to some of the days spent in DC. The house was clean and comfortable. Kids enjoyed the arcade on rainy days. Times of absolute silence on the dock with only sounds of birds were appreciated by the adults. A great stay!

We stayed for 3 nights in March. Weather was sunny but cool. House is lovely and has everything. Julie has thought of everything. Convenient for everything. Highlights were Marine museum and Calvert Cliffs beach. Thanks for everything.

Location, host, house and amenities were fantastic. Julie was so kind and very responsive. Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed the entire property. The house is well-appointed, beds and linens were very comfortable, neighborhood is quiet. Great kitchen! Outside was gorgeous - the pier is peaceful, fire pit is perfect in the evenings, and the screened-in porch was a beautiful place to hang out. We will definitely be back.
