Harrison, Idaho
Indulge yourself in this genuine getaway to relax on the deck with drink in hand while enjoying the lake view and fresh pine scented air. Breathtaking views, private beach with a canoe to explore the area and water only a few steps from the log cabin make this place a fun filled family retreat. Campfires at night to make s'mores, or a warm fire in the indoor pellet stove creates a cozy retreat you won't forget.
Don't be fooled by the tranquil setting though as kids and kids at heart will make the place come alive with water play and activities that bring your family together. From your private dock you can do such things as swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, tubing, jet skiing, and all water sports you can imagine.
The dock to sunbath on or tie up your boat for all of your play is located directly below the cabin. The cabin also has a large deck with swing, table and bench seating all around to enjoy the vista's and watch your friends and family below in the water. A barbecue on the deck makes outdoor cooking a breeze and a pebble beach with sloped entry into the water enables easy beach play.
For those last minute needs there is a charming little grocery store at Neachen Bay where you can also gas up your car only 2 miles away from the cabin.
For those that want variety and other options:
Biking or hiking on nearby trails is available on the Centennial Trail, many National Forest Trails and the Hiawatha bike path spanning several miles though tunnels and over bridges. For the thrill seekers the Silverwood Amusement Park is only 60 minutes for a day of fun at the park. A few miles away in downtown Coeur d' Alene or Spokane you will find shopping, restaurants and theaters. A world class golf course, Coeur d' Alene Resort Golf Course is just around the lake and has the worlds only floating green!
This is the perfect setting to create a lifetime of memories and experiences for all ages.
Everyone arriving in cars must be able to navigate a long staircase outside to get to the property. Older people or people with difficulty walking can be boated over to the property from a dock located in nearby Wolf Lodge Bay or from several other public docks in the area.

Place was nice and the views fantastic. We had a very nice time. I would probably replace the sink in the bathroom. There is a sign on the sink that says out-house. Then you look down and see what look like brown stains in the sink. It's kind of gross.
This was our second year at this awesome lake cabin. It’s perfect for our family of two adults and two teenagers. Views from the cabin are outstanding and everything you need is in this place for a great vacation. We happened to boat all of our groceries and luggage in because the only negative is the steep staircase from where you park down to the cabin. Boating everything in solved that problem. Thank you for sharing your exquisite property with us, we love it there.
My family had a great time at the cabin on the lake. If you plan to bring your boat its well worth it. We launched our boat at Mineral Ridge boat ramp which is just a few minutes from the house via boating. We read about the stairs so we loaded everything on the boat. Went out for a few hours before check in and enjoyed the lake. When it was time to check in we just tied up to the very nice dock and unloaded. ( Make sure to bring plenty of bumpers as the lake is choppy with boat traffic) Unloading from dock makes it easy and you avoid the stairs. Wife took me back to boat ramp and picked up truck and trailer. Drive to cabin was 10 mins and there is plenty of parking for boat and trailer and room to maneuver. Yes there is about 95 steps to get down to cabin but once your settled in we never had a need to go back up top. Cabin was great, plenty of room and beds were cozy. Huge deck and you don't get the late day sun so evenings are cool and enjoyable. There is a small fire pit which we used and enjoyed. Cabin is very private and if you do see the neighbors they are friendly. We explored the entire lake on the boat and had a great time. Lots of little marinas to stop and explore. I would recommend tying up in the town of Harrison. We would definitely recommend a stay here and plan to come back.
Great time
Nice family friendly cabin on the lake. Be ready to climb 97 stairs every time you leave. lots of stairs and lots of family fun
This was the second time we stayed at this property. Outstanding in all respects.,
My family of 5 loved this cabin! It's bright, has tons of character, and is in an ideal setting. Although the kitchen is small, it had everything we needed for cooking and is very well organized. We only stayed for 3 nights but could have easily spent a full week here. There are so many great spaces to enjoy: the cheery living area, the spacious deck, the family media area in the loft, the dock, the water, and even a place to hang hammocks under the deck. One reason we chose this location was because of the available water toys. We never ended up using the canoe because we had so much fun with the paddleboards and swimming. Our stay was mid-week, but I can imagine the lake gets pretty busy with boats on a summer weekend. As mentioned in another review, carrying all your food and gear up and down the LONG stairs is tiring and something you want to be aware of. Would be great to bring in by boat if you have one! Fortunately we put our kids to work and didn't suffer too much ;) We still wouldn't change a thing and would happily come again!
Beautiful and tidy property, crystal water surrounding the doc. Lots of stairs to access the cabin, but well lit at night. The big windows provide a stunning morning view, and the tall trees give just enough shade during the day to be comfortable.
This was our 2nd time staying at the Delyea cabin. We specifically planned our vacation this year to come back to this amazing cabin. The location, right on the water, cannot be beat. Great amenities and great communication with the host. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us! We'll be back again for sure.
After a little research, we found this property available and figured it just have been a cancellation because it was such a great property. No joke about the 98 steps to the cabin, but moving most of our stuff with a boat made it much easier. (It made a for a great workout, though!). The neighbors were very friendly and helpful, and the owners were readily available when we needed to contact them. Each morning, we got to enjoy coffee and lake views from a sunny deck. Then, we would get ready to hang out on the deck and lake for most of the day, while the deck was shaded for the remainder of the day. Plenty of seating for everyone! The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, and the layout was perfect for our two families. We loved this property and already booked a full week next year!
