Lakefront Lusby Home w/ Fire Pit: 3 Mi to Beach!

Beautiful home in a wooded area with private dock. Stunning lakefront views from most rooms in the well-appointed house and from a fabulous deck which the owners have enhanced with string lights. Well appointed kitchen, great open-plan gathering space.

The house was the perfect setting for our last summer weekend before our kids head off to college. We were in town for a concert at the Calvert Marine Museum and this was the perfect place to stay to enjoy swimming and kayaking on the lake. Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. This place has everything you need and impeccably clean. We had plenty of room for 6 adults. Great communication! We would stay again for sure!

Great place to relax and fish

We had a lovely time at the Lusby home. Close to Calvert Cliffs, Flag Pond and Solomon's Island. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. There is a beach at the lake but we didn't use it. Canoe and kayak available for exploring the lake.

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in a spectacular location! We enjoyed Calvert Cliffs, Solomon's Island and Annmarie Sculpture and Gardens. Host was very attentive and answered all my questions very quickly. :)

The Lusby Lake House is very nice & clean. The home has 3 levels, you'll enter on the second floor, has a finished basement and loft bedroom with queen sized bed. The home has a cabin vibe on the second floor and loft. The basement decor is consistent with modern living, is bright with an open floor plan. The basement has walk-out access (french doors) to the fire pit and dock. Off the second floor there is an air-conditioned sitting area which connects to the outside deck and an unobstructed view of the lake. Drive slow on arrival as the property has a hidden driveway that leads to this cloistered Lake Lusby jewel.

A small group of friends and I enjoyed this wonderful property for a quiet Memorial Day weekend together, and everything lived up to or exceeded expectations set by the listing. This is a hidden gem of a place to stay and I am already planning a trip back with my family.

I rented this little gem of a space for a few friends and I to enjoy a quiet Memorial Day weekend together on the water. Everything met or exceeded expectations based on the property listing. We enjoyed beautiful scenery and wildlife, delicious food around the fire pit, and a wonderful trip to Calvert Cliffs. I am already planning a return with my family at a later date.

My daughter is a freshman at St. Mary's college, we rented the cabin for parents weekend and her 2 brothers came along. We had a lovely time. Rooms were comfortable, showers were updated and new, great fire pit and walk out to doc. My daughter wanted home cooking so we made great use of the kitchen. All new appliances, large enough kitchen for my husband and me to cook together. My daughter enjoyed being away from campus for the weekend and playing board games with her bros. Great trip, would recommend and hope to be back next year!!

Loved this cabin! Highly recommend staying here. It was very clean, comfortable and had beautiful bathrooms and appliances. Definitely coming back to stay here- family of five with two small kiddos.
