Lakefront Cabin w/Kayak & Private Pier

I bought trip insurance for this trip. My elderly mother got sick, but the insurance refused to pay!

Lovely modern cottage, close to Hot Springs. Beautiful spot right on the water. Would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay the only thing was to many geese to much poo! You had to watch where you walked.

The property is exactly as described. Looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. You can walk out of any door to a dock. We like to fish but if you want to canoe, swim, kayak that’s also available. There’s wildlife everywhere, geese, squirrels, all types of turtles, deer, etc. Good Wi-Fi too. A lot of sitting areas inside and outside on all three porches. We didn’t leave much only to go to the Dollar General store up the road a bit. Hot Springs city life isn’t far at all. Want to hike? The mountains are close by but you’ll need to drive there. We were very comfortable.

Had EVERYTHING we needed. Made coffee, daiquiris, cooked, enjoyed morning coffee on the patio, kayaks, fishing.... you can use the washer dryer to wash your clothes. Host was great as well

A quiet relaxing cabin on the water. Lots of birds, trees and very peaceful.

The property was very nice, clean and very pet friendly! The water in both sides was very nice! Very peaceful and relaxing lots to do with just a short drive. Highly recommend this place!

Great views on either side of the house. Great outside places for hanging out on the front porch and back deck. I even took a nap on the back deck; ‘twas lovely. The house had great sunsets and sunrises. The cat on the property is a sweetie. Small issue with the cleanliness of the sheets and towels. The issue was probably overstuffed washer when cleaning. We did let the owner know and they said they would talk to the cleaner. This place is worth the relaxation.

The cottage was great, very quiet which is just what I was needing. Very clean and had everything I needed. The host contacted me shortly after my arrival and assured me if I needed anything to let her know!

Our stay at The Cottage on Cape Catherine was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—tucked away on a peaceful peninsula that stretches into the lake. The water was calm throughout our visit, and the beautiful scenery made every morning feel special.The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything in perfect order. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our dog, Buddy, loved it just as much as we did—he enjoyed exploring the area and relaxing by the water.This cottage truly offers a serene escape, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful location, house clean and all you need!

Great place for pets and all around great property.

The house was clean and very nice. The neighbor hood was quiet and peaceful. The only thing ( and this does not affect the house or host) the bed was too low to the floor for us old folks, and it felt like you sunk into the mattress a lot. But this is a very good place to stay and relax.

Hab a great stay place is nice we had most of the panesala to our selves.The 3 decks on the cottage are nice gives you nice views with no sun although the back deck gets very little sun anways .The place is well supplied with every thing you need.

Only complaint was the bed...........back was extremely sore after sleeping on it 3 nights.......also the board around the bed was a shin buster..very painful.

What a great property! The location is excellent and right on the water! We had so much fun using the communal kayaks! The cabin was very clean and functional!The only thing to note (and this does NOT effect my rating, as this is a personal preference): the bed is very low to the ground and does not have much support for older backs. So if you have mobility issues, especially problems with your knees, you might look at one of the other properties from this owner!Overall, 5/5 stay, we will definitely be back to Cape Catherine!!!

Sorry but it is hard to ignore the drive into the property. I understand that people have a right to live as they see fit but going on vacation I do not want to see every0nes trashy front yard and abandoned trailers

Love the layout of the cottage. Not too small and not too large, wonderful kitchen, Weber Grill on back patio was great for grilling shrimp with a view of the water. Clean, comfortable and easy to relax. Definitely recommend and we will return to it again.

Great little cottage with lake views all around you. The place was clean and organized and was located 10-15 minutes from everything. Absolutely loved it

Wonderful stay at this cute little cottage! The back porch overlooking the water was secluded and serene. We had everything we needed. Host stayed in touch and provided a welcome book with lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Would definitely come back!

The Cottage on Cape Catherine was lovely! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Situated on a peninsula, we could go out the front door or the back door to access the lake—so cool! We fished, used their kayaks and paddle board, sat on the patios, and relaxed in this peaceful setting. It was our home base as we went to Hot Springs, Lake Catherine State Park, and the Garvin Woodland Gardens. Laura quickly and helpfully answered all our questions. We would highly recommend the cottage!

Had the peninsula to ourselves and enjoyed some peace & quiet!

The property was very nice inside. I question the Host definition of sanitized. Trash has to be taken out. Dirty dishes had to be washed or put in the dishwasher. Too many REQUIREMENTS for a few days stay. Numerous geese abound along with geese feces. And pollen was everywhere even the patio. We would have appreciated pollen removal from the patio and furniture. Any moved furniture has to be put back in it's original place since personnel do not move furniture.

We loved our stay at the cottage, which was clean with plenty of space. We enjoyed kayaking from the front and back decks, grilling hot dogs on the grill, and listening to/ watching the geese. Good hiking and dining around nearby Hot Springs.

This was a great experience. We are so appreciative of this great cabin.

We loved our stay on cape catherine! It’s a beautiful property that is close to everything! We had a very relaxing time!

This was the perfect location for me and my cat to go visit my family who live at Diamond Head. It was also super convenient cause they were able to come over and meet my pet. Everything was as expected and Laura was wonderful.

This place is great. It has water at the front and back. It is so peaceful. There are usually geese. I love watching them. This place is pet friendly. I love how it is simple and clean. The location is conveniently located close to Hot Springs. It is very close to Garven Gardens. The road to hot springs is a wonderfully drive, especially if you take Shady Geove Rd. This was our second stay and we will be back.

We are a retired couple with a dog and spent 2 nights here in November '24. Location is very quiet with good sunsets. Bed was quite comfortable. There were plentiful towels in the bathroom. We would have liked to have more than 2 wine glasses but that is a really small point. We took the dog on some of the trails at Lake De Gray Resort and Lake Catherine State Park. I realized the nearest grocery store was not close so we brought all of our food and beverages. We didn't realize that Lake Catherine's water levels are lowered from November to March but it isn't like we were going to go swimming. If we wanted a quiet spot in hot weather, I would consider coming here again. Property Manager was very responsive when we had an issue with the TV. Responsiveness is always appreciated.

We had a little getaway for our anniversary and just wanted a relaxing quiet weekend and that’s exactly what we got. Beautiful views and just sitting on the porch enjoying the lake. Super dog friendly and the pups enjoyed the views and area too! We will definitely be back! And not too far away from downtown either!

The home is very nice and clean. Neither TV would turn on so we had to drive to Hot Springs to see the Razorback game. We were also disappointed with the bed. Other than these items the home is very nice.
