Lakefront Cabin with private pier on Donner Lake

The cabin was wonderful. Great location for multiple ski resorts. Fishing was wonderful and the hosts were so on top of it.

Beautiful, spacious cabin. Great location on the lake. The kids loved being able to fish off the pier. The cabin was well stocked including kitchen cookware, dishes, spices, oil. Communication with owners was easy and straightforward. Will def return.

Beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed the view from the living room, by sitting on second floor chairs overlooking the lake, while BBQ'ing and even going to the pier (walking in snow). Kids loved it too. Cabin has lots of beds, TVs pool table. Karen was most friendly and helpful. She welcomed us to their cabin and explained many important details over the phone. Everything is labeled inside the cabin , so you know where everything is and how things should work :) thank you ! Love to come back in summer.

Really lovely place for a group with an exceptional dock for easy access to the lake. Kitchen has all amenities that you would need to make every meal at home. Great communication with the hosts. I would rate the cleanliness as good instead of excellent; quite a few large spiderwebs, carpets with some staining, bath rugs well worn and bathtub that could a little TLC. However, with any vacation rental, I imagine it is hard to keep everything top-notch! Also bummed out that we couldn’t use the propane fireplace on the deck, that would have been good information to share in the listing. We had a lovely retreat at this lake house and would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was just right. Kayakers, paddle boarders and wind surfers put on a good show on this part of the lake.The upper level of the dock has the best view on the shoreline and is a great place to enjoy a beverage and a book with fine company.

Family stayed at this house over the weekend and we all had a blast! The views are incredible and the house is amazing! I give this rental a 10/10!From the fishing, jet skiing and family time. House provided board games in the pool table room. Plenty of space to sleep. Sheets and the entire house was very clean. Beds and showers and bathrooms were all very clean. Felt like we stayed at a 5-Star Casino. The Lake Dock was one of the best features and is top notch compared to other homes at Donner Lake. I recommend this place to any family and you wont regret the experience! Thank you Karen for the Hospitality and my family will definitely book another trip here.

A classic Tahoe house on Donner. Kitchen was modern and useable. The highlight is the lake and location. Karen was great and easy to deal with.

Great home in a perfect location with lake access. Communication with the host and responsiveness is fantastic. Nothing more we can ask for.

Having a private dock was great but this dock was incredible. The house was very well laid out, well stocked, and the owners labeled mostly everything so that it was easy to find. The stairs where challenging (one of the guests counted 50 steps to the main entry) but the view and serenity made it worth it. Several more steps down to the dock but, again, worth it (just be prepared and have your fitness watch ready). Having access to the two car garage was also a plus.

We had the most amazing time at this lakefront cabin! We lucked out and the weather was in the 80s so we spent most of our time on the beautiful deck. The house had everything we needed and enough space for five adults and four kids. The views were a dream and I really cannot wait to go back. Thank you Karen for the wonderful hospitality, we will always remember this trip!

The property has stunning views, comfortable furnishings and everything needed for a relaxing stay. We stayed between seasons so we couldn’t take advantage of the many recreational advantages but the stay was comforting and gorgeous. The host, Karen went way beyond what was necessary to make sure our stay was everything we wished for. Appreciated her so much. Our only cautions are lots of steep stairs and firm beds (ok for us but some might not like.) We hope to return some day.

This was an annual family trip up to the mountains before Thanksgiving. My whole family has raved for days on how special and unique this lovely gem of a cabin was. Every single thing you need and then some. comfy beds. unbelievable views and comforts of home. We will be back

Nice cabin feel, beautiful view, a very well stocked kitchen. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to use the impressive dock on the lake. The pictures accurately depict the stairs to the house.

The view was excellent, from all levels of the home as well as a beautiful double decker dock to relax on. The kitchen was well equipped and very organized. Bedding was very comfortable.

The house was perfect for a small group of ladies celebrating a milestone birthday, the beds, pillows and linens were extremely comfortable, the house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to relax indoors or out.

We loved our stay at Karen’s cabin. It was very beautiful and perfect location right on the water. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The tv and pool table downstairs were perfect for watching movies and hanging out! We would definitely be back again!

What an amazing stay at Karen’s place. We spent the entire two days lounging and swimming by the dock. The house has everything you could possible need. Highly recommend for a lakeside getaway!

Home was well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking with all the necessary utensils and pots/pans, bakeware, dishes etc. Beds were comfortable with quality bedding/ pillows. We had a group of 8 and there are plenty of different areas to spread out so you don’t ever feel cramped. The view of the lake from the main living area and the dock are what really made this property special for us. Host was easy to contact and responsive to any questions we had.

We stayed at this property with 4 adults and 2 kids. It was perfect. The space was utilized very smart and Karen made herself available for any questions we had. Would recommend!

Karen was a delight to work with! The Kitchen is very well stocked, with lots of thought for making your vacation a success ! the beds and bedding first rate. The dock is comfortable, fun, and has shade almost all day long! Our issue was the cleaning , I think the crew rushed through. (Karen was surprised not the normal) Also we had a couple of slips on the steps to the dock, take your time. Great views and one of the nicest docks for comfort and usability.
