Lakefront Cabin w/ Beach Access: 8 Mi to Northstar

We had a fantastic time! Great location with on site beach access. Rustic and comfortable cabin with all amenities you could need. Will definitely visit again.

Cute place, family orientated, roomy and clean.

The cabin interior and facilities are pretty average; comfortable but nothing to shout about. On the other hand the location and view blew us away! Located right on Moon Dunes Beach the views of the lake were stunning all day (and night) long and an expansive deck helped us enjoy relaxing outside. I brought along my kayak and bike and had plenty of options for enjoying both. A well stocked Safeway and restaurants are nearby for food and drink. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed reacquainting ourselves with the Lake Tahoe area, thanks!

I am disappointed in this booking, such a beautiful house to not be kept in a suitable and comforting state for guests,when my family and I walked in we noticed cups in the sink food in the microwave and trash on the table and trash bin, both bathrooms looked as if they have been used and not cleaned out, the last straw for me was the bedding instantly when I walked in I saw the beds were ot made an the linen from the previous guests was not removed and substituted with new one. At this point it was to late for me to look for another location to. A cleaner came to change the linens until the next day.

It was much much better as compare to my previous cabins or rental houses stay and location was just perfect ? ?

The house was perfect for our family’s first stay at Tahoe. The view was breathtaking. It was also perfect to have the backyard as the beach so when our little ones were ready for a nap we could just walk back to the house. It was just feet away! Can’t wait to go back!

Great deck facing the water, literally steps from the water. 2 full bathrooms was a great accommodation for larger groups/families.

This lake front cabin a Tahoe true gem! It has a cozy and home-feeling with everything needed for a family of 6. The hosts checked in with us the morning of check in and were responsive when we had a question. The cabin was clean and has all amenities we needed for our 3-night stay. The location is close to a Safeway and other restaurants in Kings Beach. We even had pizza delivered to our location one night. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and our family had enough room during our stay. The beds were also very cozy. I was worried about the traffic noise, but we slept great! The views are breathtaking and the public beach in front of the cabin is teen and kid friendly. The four-year-old could swim safely in the lake and build sandcastles in front of the cabin while the teen could easily bring his paddle board in and out of the lake to the cabin. We did learn we had to save a space on the beach early in the morning as it fills up fast with others but once we put up our chairs we went back and forth to the lake with no problems. The cabin has a huge deck and is secure all the way around the place. I was worried about the four-year-old getting out, but the owners had gates on all sides which was wonderful. We will be back next summer as it hits everything on our lake list- homey feel, views of the lake from the cabin, is good for families with small children, and it close to restaurants and a grocery store.
