Stayed Jun 9, 2026We absolutely loved the little cabin! Had just what we needed to unwind, disconnect from the world a bit (there's no wifi), and reconnect with each other. We went for our anniversary, and Cheryl was such a great host: great communication and included cute little touches for the stay. She also made an accommodation for our dogs, which we are very grateful for since we wanted a place we could travel to with them. The owner's house is across the street (circle driveway) from the cabin, but privacy was never an issue, especially since the little back patio to the cabin and fire pit are on the opposite side, anyway. They did have a dog that sometimes barked at us from its balcony whenever it was out at the same time as us, but we love dogs and it was far enough away that it was in no way an issue. The lake was SO gorgeous!! And the dock was awesome to be able to hang out on and swim around. Note that (probably depending on recent rain?) you do have to take a few steps through knee deep water to get to the dock ramp, just fyi. Nothing we minded since the water felt so nice! Unfortunately, Cheryl was out of town during our stay, so renting a kayak wasn't an option -- slight bummer, but we enjoyed floating around in the water and hanging out on the dock so much, regardless!Eureka Springs was only about 18 minutes away - very charming! We went one evening, but mostly spent our visit around the cabin & lake. Overall, the little cabin in the woods was perfect for us! LOVED it.

Stayed May 30, 2026We enjoyed our stay. Pet friendly as we traveled this time with the dogs. The Host is laid back and easy to rent from. The lake is beautiful. The listings should mention the hiking as it is a massive property there, my knee was out this trip so I did not get to adventure out much, however this place has amazing trails and rock formations just outside the cabin. The deer on this property come right up to the deck and I loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful. The only downside is the road to get there and distance from town as the local roads in the area are all curves and low speeds so it does take longer than expected to get around.

Stayed May 14, 2026Little Cabin in the Woods is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was very helpful about everything. Communication was excellent. She made sure we had good directions and an easy check-in and check-out experience. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and pet friendly. The a.c. and ceiling fan kept us cool. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed for our short trip.In the woods around the cabin we saw several deer, birds, and squirrels. There’s also a trail through the trees that took us to the private dock on the lake. The lake views are gorgeous.I truly enjoyed seeing all of the whimsical nature inspired metal art pieces uniquely placed around the cabin and in the woods. I kept spotting more each day of our stay. Such a charming place. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed Apr 13, 2026Beautiful lakefront property, welcoming host and adorable cabin. We traveled in late at night and. Cheryl helped us with directions. It is remote and the drive I would say requires an SUV of sorts due to rugged road terrain.Once there, it couldn’t be more perfect! We had a lovely fire one night and enjoyed walks along the lake. We are so grateful, the host allowed our dogs who LOVED the lake!! It’s definitely worth the stay!!

Stayed Apr 10, 2026We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was peaceful, quiet, and perfect for celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time.Finding the address was very easy, and while the cabin is about 20 minutes from downtown Eureka Springs, it was well worth it to be away from the crowds and fully unwind. The road leading up to the cabin is a bit bumpy, but we had an SUV so it wasn’t an issue for us.The owners’ home is across from the cabin, but we never had any interaction and still felt it was very private. One of our favorite parts was the dock—the view was amazing, and we loved spending time there with a glass of wine.We also brought our two dogs, Peanut and Hazel, and they loved it just as much as we did. The host was kind and made everything seamless. We’d definitely stay here again.

Stayed Mar 19, 2026Definitely a top notch property & just as described! The host was very nice & accommodating, helping us find food nearby etc. The bed was very comfortable & the property was spotless. But you definitely need to be willing to unplug, and not need wifi as you will not have it without a Hotspot of some kind. We left some extra DVDs there for future guest, but they had quite a good sized selection. Just be aware you will be far from anything so encouraged to bring snacks & possibility easy sandwich materials.

Stayed Oct 31, 2025Due to the business of life, I accidentally booked two properties for the same date :(I don’t have a full experience of staying here but want to comment on the communicativeness of the host: They were very proactive! We did stop by and the lodging was a great little spot for a couple. The proximity to the lake was great and the overall setting was beautiful.

Stayed Oct 14, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved watching a family of deer from the deck and feeding the birds. The location was perfect, close to town but still peaceful and surrounded by nature. We also enjoyed hiking around Beaver Lake and finding shells. We would happily stay here again!

Stayed Sep 4, 2025We had a fantastic stay at Cheryl’s property. The pictures don’t do this place justice! The host was very kind, provided excellent directions, and lots of personal touches for our stay. This cabin provides plenty of privacy and has a dock for guests use on the lake. It is an awesome property with a great host!

Stayed Aug 28, 2025This was a beautiful property and a great place to reset with my husband. We got to spend some time on the dock and on the back patio of the cabin which was amazing! All the birds and wildlife roaming around made it easy to enjoy the simplicity of nature. We also enjoyed Eureka Springs and all its offerings as well but mostly enjoyed our time at the cabin. We were glad we brought our truck for the drive once closer to the property but what a beautiful drive it was! Cheryl was a great host and had even the smallest of things thought out. The cleanliness was top notch.

Stayed May 2, 2025We loved our stay in the little cabin. We were there for a week. Cheryl, our host, was friendly and very accommodating. The property is an absolute gem. Our highlights were hiking with our dog, fishing for stripers with a guide, and a parade and two great meals in Eureka. We highly recommend the area generally and the little cabin in particular. Thanks so much, Cheryl.

Stayed Apr 24, 2025This is a cute cabin tucked away in the woods. Great lake access. Has all the amenities you need. The porch off the back is really nice for enjoying morning coffee. The roads to the cabin are slightly challenging…but if you’re looking for a relaxing, secluded spot that is kind of off the grid, this is the place for you!

Stayed Mar 16, 2025We stayed in mid-march and with no leaves on the trees you could see the lake well from the deck but you didn't feel like you were on display. I generally dislike my wife's crossover SUV but this and the other cabins we have stayed at have roads that requires more ground clearance than my car has. This was the cheapest cabin we have stayed at in Eureka Springs and a tremendous experience.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Our stay was absolutely wonderful, the cabin was very clean and inviting. A cozy getaway for my husband and I after the busyness of the holidays. A perfect place to enjoy the quiet and the beautiful scenery. The cabin had everything we needed and a few extras thrown in (we really enjoyed the M&M’s). Cheryl was a wonderful host and even informed us of the weather and cared about our safe travels. We can’t wait to go back!

Stayed Oct 29, 2024The setting was beautiful. We took long walks in the woods, while places to eat out weren't too far away. The only thing I would change is a few more utensils in the kitchen. We only had 4 forks, three spoons and 4 knives. The view from the back deck was lovely, all the leaves changing color and a view of the lake.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024Absolutely adorable LITTLE CABIN IN THE WOODS says it all. What is not shown online is a quick little walk down to the dock! We spent our mornings with coffee on it watching the sun come up over the lake and our evenings with a glass of wine. Also there is a cute little porch in the back that is enclosed that our pups loved sitting on it watching the squirrels and deer go by. Incredible romantic and adorable!!
