Lakefront Cabin - Dock, Kayaks, Hot Tub, Game room, 2 King Beds

It was a beautiful place, peaceful and serene! The extra amenities were excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views and the lake are great to look at on the deck, especially at sunset; get in at least one sunset! We would absolutely stay there again.

Fully equipped cabin for a fun and relaxing stay. Cards and games to play at night and our favorite was kayaking on the lake. I do wish they had one more adult kayak. Many spots to sit outside for conversations and eating.

This place was perfect for a quick getaway with lots of things to do. Blue Ridge is less than 20 minutes away. The spot on the lake is absolutely gorgeous with clean water and a cool area to kayak across the lake to a sandy spot. The kids loved to pretend it was an island they had to kayak to. I loved sitting on the top dock while my husband fished below. The hot tub was perfect watching the sunset go down. I can’t say enough good things about this place! We will be back.

This is really remote property surrounded by water and forest. We are a family of 5 and we spent our spring break at the home. The kids enjoyed having the kayaks available to paddle around the lake with. There is a bait and tackle store down the road where you can buy your fishing supplies if that is something you want to do. It is definitely a home that will allow you to unplug and enjoy nature for awhile.

The lake view was stunning and was the perfect setting for a family vacation.

We had a great stay and really loved the place. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The host was welcoming and responsive, and the location was beautiful and relaxing. We’re already planning to come back and would highly recommend it.

The area was very quiet and peaceful while we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent outdoors (the screened-in porch, the outside dining tables, the hot tub and the boat house/dock). We even saw baby deer swimming in the lake over our morning coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked and the house was clean. We would love to stay again in the future.

The property has an amazing view of the lake. The owners have stocked the kitchen well and there are plenty of kayaks and water toys. The only downside is that the decks and upper dock is completely unusable after about 1pm due to the sun. The screen porch and dining table are blasted by the setting sun. There are no umbrellas or awnings to prevent burning your feet. Beds are comfortable but basement bedroom has no AC vent and the fan didn’t provide enough air during July heat. Queen bedroom on main floor has bed over the only AC vent and the ceiling fan works but wobbles so badly that sleeping with it on was impossible. Overall the house is nice and well located but be prepared to be hot in the summer.

Jun 2025. We enjoyed every aspect of the cabin. The privacy is unmatched to any other summer vacation!! The water was warm, we enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, tubes and the sunshine Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, from spices all the way to sandwich bags. All of the beds and pillows were so comfortable. We can't wait to book again.

Everything was nice! i wouldn't recommend to drive at night if you dont know the neighborhood is difficult to get there

It was a great weekend, kayaking, local antique stores and the lake was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful location! Not too far from civilization but far enough that you really feel like you're getting away. There's plenty to do right at the house, enough space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. You can be as active and adventurous as you like or just relax and enjoy your surroundings!

Number 1 the communication with the property owner was the best I've ever experienced. She had some renovations happening before we arrived to the home and were halted during our stay. These renovations did not impact our stay whatsoever! My son and son in law, I had a wonderful time on the kayaks, my kids lived the ping pong and air hockey table. We utilized the hot tub 2 nights and it was fabulous! The buttons need to be pushed with a little muscle behind it but was not a big deal, it worked perfectly fine! The Sunset view was to DIVINE! This location is so close to downtown Blueridge so you are close to restaurants and activities such as shopping or riding the train (which I highly suggest!) This home was large enough for everyone to have their own space. We are so happy and would love to stay here again!! Thank you so much for our lovely stay!!

house was great and owners were very responsive. however the downstairs bedroom was slightly deceptive with local heater and no central heat with no heat in the gameroom that was attached. you had to walk through the gameroom to get to the bedroom and then turn on the spaceheater.

Great experience. Home was at a perfect location and all of the amenities were great.

Great place for a family or friends get together. Plenty of space and great open set up. It’s a little complicated to get to but once you’re there it’s great. We had a driver take us back and forth since we visited the wineries in the area. Highly recommend Kevin Fay 404-915-9249. Drivers are kind of hard to find in this area but he was great! The house is full of entertainment so if you get groceries you don’t need to leave the cabin. Highly recommend visiting.

The lake house was as described. It was well equipped and clean. The owners provided a detailed list of what's provided, so it made packing easy. The hot tub was very clean. It was nice having kayaks and a canoe for getting out on the water. The views were great and I appreciated the full propane tanks on site. No complaints here. Thanks for a great stay.

The home was better than expected & a very nice surprise for lake property. We loved the roominess & privacy from surrounding homes. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. The detailed furnishings were better than most rentals with everything you can need or want. The abundance of linens surpassed any previous rental. Thank you for the hospitality!

I want to thank Lori and Ralph for a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and the location on the lake is truly magnificent. Plenty of space for 7 adults with more than enough supplies for everyone. Will definitely return and recommend this property.

There is nothing you need to bring . House very well equipped. It’s was absolutely a great time a the best house. Will be returning . The lake is gorgeous. Love the deep water. The children had such a good time. 👍
