Lake Home Retreat on Big Sandy

We had a wonderful stay. The owner Tom was fantastic to communicate with and made our stay pleasant.

We ran into a few snafus with our reservation, but Tom worked very hard to remediate along the way! The location of this house is great - excellent lake, quiet property and near some of the major restaurants/beaches. Overall, we were very satisfied with our weekend away and would recommend this property to others looking for a family or friend getaway!

Some minor issues (owner) Tom did respond. Mattress in 2 smaller Bed Rooms due to replace.. Will rent again…nice location and very roomy was great for us..nice property.

The cabin was very spacious and perfect for our group. We had fun fishing off the dock, swimming, tubing, water skiing, and hanging out in the 3 season porch. The owner was a fabulous communicator and very accommodating. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our time at big sandy. Tom was very responsive with the power outage that occurred due to a storm.

Good space on a great lake! Great common spaces for family and friends to hang out. The host was great with communication as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. There was a lot of space to spread out for a big group. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook - even tupperware for our leftovers. There was also a drip coffee maker and a keurig, so plenty of options. The extra fridge in the garage was great to have as well. The host was very responsive to our messages if we needed anything, and checked in on us after the power went out briefly. Excellent communication before, and during, our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for an annual fishing trip and this house had everything we needed and the property manager was always available when we had questions!

This was an amazing family cabin. Large enough for us to have family from the lake visit and cozy enough to feel at home on the lake. Can’t wait to go back again!
