Whitehall, Michigan
White Lake Log Cabin Resort, is sitting on the edge of a wooded bluff overlooking White Lake, with its five log cabins born in a simpler era, allows you peace and quiet in the rural area of the White Lake Area, as you experience the beauty and simplicity of an authentic log cabin with its gleaming natural knotty pine-wood walls. At our 125 feet of lakefront, you will also find another campfire pit and a rowboat's use and life jackets for each cabin.
Within the interior confines of your cabin, you will have the ambience of its gleaming, natural wood walls, open-beamed ceilings, and a fireplace, for which we provide the firewood should you need it, the only source of heat. Dine indoors on the handcrafted wood, leafed table in its Great Room using its kitchen for preparing your meals, using the provided cooking utensils, pots-and-pans, dishes, silverware, coffeemaker, toaster, stove, and refrigerator, or dine outside on your picnic table using the charcoal grill. Each log cabin has indoor plumbing with a shower stall.
Then, within the confines of the "L" formed by our five log cabins, you will find our well-equipped recreation area: campfire pit, shuffleboard, tether-ball, volleyball/badminton, swing set, sandbox, sport building with sink and running water to clean your bevy of fish you caught from White Lake that you have access to, from our 125 feet of lakefront about 100 yards down a single-lane blacktop, across a two-lane blacktop.
While using one of our rowboats, you have the opportunity to catch several of the variety of fish that live White Lake, the mouth of the White River: Wall-eyed and Northern Pike; Lake Michigan Perch; Crappie; Bluegill; Large-mouth, Small-mouth and White Bass. Then, if you hire a charter boat, you can catch big-game fish in Lake Michigan, accessible through an Army Corp of Engineers-maintained channel. No matter what type of boating is your bag, there's plenty of room for it all on 6 x 1 1/2 mile long White Lake, power boating, sail-boating, personal watercraft, pontooning and other water sports skiing and tubing--you choose!
You will have a private cabin with full kitchen, large living space, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. Outside the cabin you have a private grill, lawn chairs, and picnic table. The common areas include, one resort area fire pit, two beach front fire pits, volleyball/bad-mitten net and equipment, shuffleboard, horseshoes, cornhole, rowboats including life-jackets and oars, and many other outdoor games.

Friendly owner who took the time to tell us about the area and make suggestions on what to do and where to dine.
Very Austere and primitive. Concerned about no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide sensors. My brother and I stayed at the Erie cabin. Dimly lit and electrical had no ground so not possible to plug in a computer. Glad we were visiting family and did not spend much one in the room. Enjoyed the area but thie accommodation s were not great. Windows did not secure. Open and close with ropes. Shower and bath not great. Was we were a little disappointed. The owner needs to investigate more closely. This cabin had open cracks in the walls and was not insulated or air tight. One should never stay here in winter months.
Nice cabins, well maintained, excellent host, we enjoyed it. We definitely recommend this place.
My husband and I came for a salmon fishing trip in Muskegon and we're pleased to realize that pets we're allowed. Daniel was great at check in recommending dinner places etc. Cabin was adorable and clean.
Erie cabin was a cute rustic little place; the whole property is under new ownership and you can tell they’re working to brighten things up. It is small so would be ideal for one to two couples only or maybe a couple and an older kid. Fair warning, the bedrooms are partition walls and do not go all the way to the ceiling so not much in the way of privacy, which was slightly problematic being there with our two small kids. The host, Daniel, was great and very responsive when we reached out to him. Loved that the property is pet friendly ?
My husband, puppy, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glazier Glen's Log Cabins. It is a beautiful log cabin and the host, Daniel, was spectacular. He gave us great food recommendations. We had a view of the lake, and were close to hiking trails and the downtown eateries. A perfect spot for a getaway. The cabins all have wood burning fireplaces which was the perfect added touch we were looking for.
