Charming Lake Blue Ridge Cottage - Completely modernized – Welcome to Wet Feet Retreat on Lake Blue Ridge - Convenient location in Morganton, GA min. from downtown Blue Ridge, GA. 2 BR`s (both kings) 1 BA w/ futon in living room for additional sleeping. Terrace level features game room including ping pong table, dart board/darts, hook & ring toss + outdoor horseshoe pit. Great yard, observation deck overlooking lake, fire pit area, private boat dock (seasonally), hot tub patio, amazing sunsets

Newly furnished including bedding, mattresses & linens. Bathroom features new subway tile walk in shower “with a view”, spacious open floor plan, great front porch w/ outdoor furniture, outdoor dining & TV w/ views of Lake Blue Ridge. Kitchen offers updated stainless-steel appliances & is fully equipped. Each room features large flat screen TV, propane gas grill, outdoor TV on front porch overlooking the fire pit area & the lake. Terrace level features recreation/game room including ping pong table, dart board zone, hook & ring toss w/ LED fiber optic accent lighting depending on the mood. The “light show” can be entertainment enough. Additionally, outdoor horseshoe area & corn hole boards area available. Designated office area with high-speed internet is located in the mud room area with office desk & chair, office supplies including printer (both USB cord & wireless available) - printer paper provided. Very open floor plan with the bedrooms including one king bedroom & one queen bedroom. Living room features a new electric, log fireplace, as well as a futon that turns into queen size bed for additional sleeping. Cottage has 2 canoes, 2 stand up paddle boards and 2 kayaks for your use. Great usable yard perfect for the pets or kids. Observation deck overlooking lake & fire pit area w/ LED fiber optic patio lights great for enjoying the evenings grilling out or making smores. New hot tub on private patio is perfect for relaxing & star gazing – Enjoy yourself & forget what galaxy you’re in.

Parking is private parking in the subject property`s driveway. The driveway is a circle so it`s convenient and there is enough parking for approx. 6 cars. It`s very easy access and drive and parkin area are well maintained gravel surfaces.

Private boat dock with one boat slip is on the property fronting on Lake Blue Ridge. Coordinate and contact host should you wish to occupy and rent the boat slip as well. Guests are welcome to use the dock to swim and hang out on but to rent the slip please inquire with host. 2 canoes, 2 stand up paddle boards and 2 kayaks are available for your use as well as other lake toys and floats.
Lake Blue Ridge’s Wet Feet Retreat - House Information, Rules & Regulations

Please make sure to read this important information. These house rules and regulations expected should go without saying as they’re very standard and customary. These rules have been set out so that every guest visiting the property has a safe, secure, and (most importantly) fun stay at the property. Breach of any of these house rules is a breach of the terms and conditions of occupancy and make you subject to eviction. Additionally, we also reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors from the property who refuse to follow the house rules and regulations. If you’re unsure about any of the rules included herein or need further clarification, please feel free to contact us. We hope you find everything you need at Wet Feet Retreat and are happy to share it with you.

Maximum number of people that can occupy this residential home is 6 people.

-There is no landline phone at this property so you are dependent upon your cell phone for all phone communication. All cell phone carriers should work from the property.

-Please enjoy yourself and have a great time! However, please do remember that voices echo through the mountains especially on the lake. Due to the natural topography of Lake Blue Ridge and the mountains surrounding it, please know that voices carry and echo across the lake. Since the lake is in the bowl of the mountains the sound waves reflect and you might be surprised who can hear your conversations or what conversations of others you may can hear. Please just be courteous of others and don’t scream or yell or talk in loud voices especially late at night. The neighbors all around you are wonderful people and they all live here full time. They will be very courteous and respectful to you I promise, so please make sure and show them the same courtesy.

-No smoking is permitted inside the house. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, vapes, etc. This is strictly enforced.

-The tap water is safe to drink. It is public city water.

-Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. The property is on a septic tank and it could stop up the system. Please put any sanitary items in a trash can.

-Recreation Room/Basement: The recreation room in terrace level is accessed from outside the house under the front porch (lake side opposite driveway). There is a lockbox located to the left of the sliding glass doors with key. Lockbox code is 0018. The light switch is up in the left corner where wall and ceiling meet as you enter room (gray box) up to the left as you enter recreation room. That will turn on lights in the main room. There is another light switch above the mini refrigerator area that turns on the rest of the lights. The shuffle board, ping pong table, pacman, Nintendo Wii & games are all in the recreation room.

-The floats, life jackets, stand up paddle boards, etc. are located in the storage room below main level porch next to the entrance to terrace level. The door is under porch just across from hot tub. There are some additional life jackets and lake accessories in the storage box located on the boat dock. The kayaks and canoes are available in their respective holders. You’re more than welcome to use any of it, however, please take care of them and treat them like your own. You will be responsible for damaging or destroying them, however, so please make sure you are familiar with and know how to use. Please return everything to the location you found them prior to departure.

-A first aid kit is located in the shelves in the bathroom hallway that connects to the primary bedroom.

-There are 2 fire extinguishers – one is in the laundry room hanging by washer/dryer and the other one is in the bathroom hallways area on top shelf.

-You’re welcome to enjoy the outdoors and use any of the grills outside. There is a charcoal grill, propane gas grill and handmade “Big Bertha” grill that uses wood or charcoal. Please turn the propane off immediately after use. Grilling accessories, such as tongs, grilling baskets, cleaners, etc. are located in the bottom cabinet to the left of the kitchen sink. Please clean the grill after use. An extra propane tank for the gas grill is onsite. If you run out of propane, please contact Nathan Fitts and he can instruct you where the back up tank is located. For “Big Bertha”, the charcoal or wood goes in the removal tray below grill.

-Keurig coffee maker in kitchen with a variety of blends of coffee, sweeteners and creamers. It is located in the white canisters in the kitchen cabinets and is labeled.

-Pets are not allowed with permission granted from host. Pet fee is required as stated.

-The fireplace in the main level is an electric fireplace. No flu or anything needs to be opened so please do not tamper with anything. To work the fireplace, use the remote control hanging on the wall next to the fireplace.

-Please do not park outside the circle part of the driveway. The adjacent driveway is a shared driveway and cannot be blocked.

-Firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited.

-Please do not leave the fire at the fire pit still burning and go to bed. This is a neighborhood, and it would put not only you at risk but your fellow house guests as well as the entire neighborhood. Firewood for the fire pit is located in the rack on the level where fire pit is located. Please put cover back on the wood rack to keep wood dry for your use and for future guests.

-Sheets, blankets and extra pillows for the futon are located in the dresser in the guest bedroom. Extra sets of sheets and pillowcases for each bed are located in the dressers in that bedroom. So, you can identify easily, king size sheets and pillowcases are tripled folded and queen size sheets and pillowcases are double folded.

-Please do not rearrange any of the furniture.

-No persons shall be doing anything on the premises of the subject property that is illegal or against the law.

-Renter/guests will be held responsible for any damage to the subject property. The property owner shall not be responsible for any damage to renters/guests’ personal property or bodily injury that may occur during rental dates. This rental is made upon the express condition that the property owner, its agents, hosts, and employees shall be free from all liabilities and claims for damages and/or suits for or by reason of any injury, or death to any person or property of the renter/guests, its agents, family members, third parties or other permitted guests, from any cause or causes whatsoever while in or upon said premises or any part thereof during the rental dates.     This lake house is very cute and has been modernized and well decorated. The washer and dryer were convenient. The host was kind and helpful. The house was very clean. The property was clean and well maintained. The proximity to the lake is great, it was quiet, and it would be fun to stay in the summer some time. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of clean towels, and lots of cookware and seasonings in the kitchen. Easy to get to downtown blue ridge and still enjoy the mountains and lake. There is a keurig instead of a coffee maker, and was stocked with a lot of coffee pods. There were thoughtful items like board games, things to make s’mores, and apps on the tv were already ready to use. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again. Thank you Nathan!

    Cabin was comfortably appointed and well equipped. Beds, furniture, and kitchen table were wonderful. A lot of nice touches such as various types of coffee and tea K-cups for the Kuerig and all the ingredients to make s’mores in the fire pit, where there was plenty of wood. Only two disappointments - there was no lake view because of seasonal lake level (managed by TVA); and TV did not have access to local ABC station or ESPN, so we were unable to watch SEC football, except on our smaller portable devices. Blue Ridge is a neat little town with lots of restaurant options and, overall, it was one of the most relaxing getaways we have had.

    As a previous lake house owner, my expectations were high and this property surpassed every one of them. The decor, cleanliness and location were top notch. Plenty of supplies (towels, linens, games…I could go on and on). This was truly good for the mind and soul and perfect for a reset away from the hustle and grind of work. The kids (all 18+) had an amazing time and were exhausted each night. Nathan was so attentive and responsive and even checked in to see how we were doing. We will definitely be back!! The pics were amazing online, but even better in person!

    House was well decorated and clean. Dock was new and lots of floats and games for the family. Location convenient to town. Only complaints were mothballs all around the outside of the house which caused a strong odor. Also could use more silverware - only had 2 spoons and not many more forks.

    We were here over 4th of July and had a fantastic stay! The cottage has a great layout, comfy beds, and the host has thought of everything you could posibbly need or want for a fantastic stay. We loved that we could also bring our dog with us to enjoy the lake. The dock is located in a quiet cove where you can paddleboard or kayak out to watch the sunset and is also less than a 5-10 minute trip to the marina by boat. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking to stay on the lake!

    My friends and I came rented this house in mid June for a short getaway. The cottage is a vibe. It is super cute. No details were left out. The back deck was great for games and meals. We mostly played games or spent our time down at the lake. The cove was quiet. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and used floats to swim and relax off the dock. There is a cute “basement” area with ping pong/games as well. We didn’t use the hot tub but I’m sure it was just as nice and clean as the rest of the property. On our first night, we drove to the marina and had a nice meal with the view of the lake. When we come back to the area, I would definitely chose to stay here again.
