Kookie Bears Cottage

I can not express how much i loved this property. It was very cozy and welcoming. The location is perfect. Very close to the city but far enough to enjot the peacful quietness that Big Bear has to offer. Property manager was amazing. Excellent customer service and very accommodating. I cant wait for next summer to boom again! I definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking. Again i really LOVED Kookie Bear's Cottage!!!!! 3

Kookie Bear Cottage was great! It was very homey and exactly what we wanted for our weekend getaway! We enjoyed the cottage so much that we plan on making it our yearly mountain destination! It was cozy, yet perfect size for a small family. The kitchen was very accommodating and the neighborhood felt very safe. We can feel the love and care that went in to keeping this place warm and welcome! Thanks to our host, Nancy!

Was the best time for my partner and I. The location was close to every thing that we didnt have to drive far at all. Every amenity we needed was available and we had a great host. Would def go back again!

This place was exactly what my wife and I were looking for - a cozy cottage to escape with our dogs for a few days. The place had plenty of room for the two of us and our dogs. The cottage was clean and had all of the usual amenities that you’d expect from a vacation rental. Nancy was extremely prompt in her responses to my questions as well. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Cozy getaway to kick off the holiday season. Cabin is clean and Nancy was a pleasure to communicate with.

Clean quiet and comfortable place

Very good location close to trails and a short drive to the lake. The host leaves pet blankets to drape over furniture to protect it from dog hair. What a nice idea! The back yard is very nice and fully fenced. I was not worried about my pet getting out or other animals entering (it is the mountains after all....coyotes, bobcats, bears) when he lounged around the back while we used the grill and ate at the back table. The neighborhood was quiet. You could hear the wind in the trees. It was exactly what we were looking for.

I had a wonderful stay at Kookie Bears Cottage! They did a beautiful job making this place comfortable & beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the birds, under the shady trees. The fenced yard was well secured, even for my tiny dogs. The neighborhood was safe & quiet, with an upscale mountain vibe. The kitchen was well equipped, with the cutest dishes. There was a little back house that could be used as a work from home space, or a gamers lair. I enjoyed the cottage so much, it was close to everything but far from the hustle & bustle of the Village. Favorite nature spot on the lake was nearbyJuniper Point. Nancy was available to answer any questions I had during my stay. I hear they're adding a hot tub next! There is a gas grill and firepit in the backyard. I'd love to come back!

I came to Kookie Bears Cottage with my dog, hoping for a peaceful writing retreat, and I had just that! The cottage is warm and comfortable, well stocked and well decorated, and the location is great. It's close enough to town to pop out for dinner, yet located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was spotless when I arrived. Overall, I have nothing but rave reviews and would love to stay at this cottage again in the future.

Loved this little home. Easy access, clean any very comfortable
