The area was beautiful!

The shower is so small, it’s impossible to soap without the water washing it off. Very small & not at all comfortable! The mattress is the worst.

This property is conveniently located, lovely, and well-appointed. The management kept in touch with regular updates throughout the period from registration to check-out. We made fine use of the gas log fireplace and the hot tub. While we chose to eat out, the kitchen is adequately equipped for cooking meals. I would be pleased to stay here again. ;)

Cabin was cozy

We had a beautiful time. You have a wonderful caring community. My old man dog went missing and everyone rallied to help bring him home. My heart goes out to y’all as you deal with the aftermath of the fires, and now flooding.

This place is exactly as pictured! We enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings! The cabin and location is great for a weekend getaway if you’re wanting to explore the shops and eatery in Ruidoso and the host is quick to respond if you have any trouble or questions!

Great communication, very clean, definitely will be back!

Property was nice and spacious. Everything was perfect except the heat ran non stop. At one point, with all the thermostats turned off, and one door and 2 windows open, the house reached 88 degrees inside. Outside temp was 44. We had to sleep with the windows open just to keep cool. Please check with management to make sure this has been taken care of before you book. I had seen a review from before december of '24 mentioning the heat , and the property managers said it would be taken care of. It had not. Other then this minor inconvenience ( since were on the slopes all day) the place was fantastic. Big and spacious, awesome set up. Will definately stay here again (when the heat is fixed)

At first the cabin seemed great. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was awesome. The location was excellent. Lots of deer and horses roaming the area made it feel really cool. However after a few days my husband and daughter began showing bites all over their abdominal area and upper legs. On the last night it was the worst. Upon returning home we sought medical attention and were told they were definitely bed bug bites. We were horrified. We spent over $1000 on a Vrbo property that left them full of bed bug bites. Not good. Make sure to request proof the beds were treated or replaced before you book here. We travel a lot and have never encountered this so we were just extremely disappointed. We will definitely never return to this property again.

I love my stayed at this cabin. It was everything I was looking for. Can’t wait to be back.

The advertising of this property is completely misleading! We were looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy instead we were inches from a busy road with neighbors surrounding us from all sides with only feet in-between cabins! There was no privacy to say the least! The hot tub might as well have been a public pool because of the lack of privacy and to walk to it would have meant walking through sticks and brush! They say a picture tells a 1000 words too bad it didn't include that you would be spending the weekend with neighbors you don't know and continuous traffic driving by your window at all hours and no place to sit and enjoy nature! Very disappointed!

Wanted to stay longer but had a limited amount of time. Enjoyed the cabin and the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to come back to Knotty Pine again and again. It’s a perfect cozy cabin for two people. It was also a great location. We had easy access to the lake and to town.
