Not the biggest, just the Best working Cattle Ranch with cabins.Picked it for our 25th. Wife is a Big horse Lover. They did not need our help in July or August. Special thanks to some of the staff, Chris the trail boss Ladina the Superb cook, and the Bull-Horned hood ornament of the place. Cowboy Hawkeye Henson. For his stories and entertainment. Thanks to all ...
Great experience! Loved the cabin and thorough directions from the host! We were only here to sleep, wish we had more time at the ranch!
Was traveling with a dog and needed place for night. This ranch was great place. Working ranch with cattle and horses. Stopped by saloon for drink after long day driving. Everyone friendly. Would love to come back and stay longer.
We stayed 2 nights really enjoyed the piece an quite. Watchin the horses, turkeys was soothing. We had our dogs who loved running in the fields. The ranch house meals were good and fun. Hanging out with Monty Hawkeye Henderson in the saloon while he played guitar and sang was great as well.
Very primitive duplex. Killed 2 dozen flies in the unit. Weeds growing up through the steps and porch. Photo is deceiving. Forfeited our next stay in order to find other accommodations.
We loved our stay! The cabin was small but that's all we needed. We chose Kira Creek because we were visiting Daughter in area. We didn't take in all ranch fun but maybe in the future. Breakfast was always a treat getting to converse with staff and other guests who are from all over the states and the world. Food was a traditional cowboy breakfast of meat and eggs - not so good for a vegan but toast and cereal was available. Our granddaughter (5 yrs old) decided to stay with us a couple of nights in the Loft. It was a special memory for all of us!
We absolutely loved the property and the surrounding area. I stayed here with my husband and two kids (9&13). Cabin #3 was a perfect fit for us! Due to a storm coming in, we had to cut our stay short for travelling reasons. We were bummed to leave early but have hopes of returning one day!
