This fall is turning out to be very beautiful. If you're looking to just get away from all the noise and fatigue of your daily life, come up and just enjoy sitting on the front porch and watch the fall Leafs float to the ground. This cabin is not handicap accessible. This cabin is small but very well stocked. Hidden from the road but close enough so it's easy to access from the Hogback. The cabin has 1 queen bed and a bunk room with 2 small bunks, full kitchen, and1 bathroom, the bathroom has a full-size tub and shower combo. The common room also has a futon that folds out into a full-size bed. Let's not forget the outside, relax on the full-size deck.

Very secluded, private and quiet. Charming cabin with a great big covered deck for evening family activity and sunrise and sunset viewing .
My husband and I enjoy hiking in the sequoias, and this cabin is perfect for that--just a short drive from the groves we wanted to visit but off the beaten path, so it has a secluded, quiet feel. We enjoyed sitting on the porch glider in the evenings listening to cicadas and watching the stars from the hammock. Kimberli is SO accommodating, and the cabin is very clean and cozy, with everything we needed in the kitchen. This is our second time staying here, and I'm confident it won't be the last!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. After a long day of hiking in the park we came back and had nice dinners prepared on the grill and watched 80's movies on the DVD player. We slept very peacefully at night. Thanks Kimberli! :)
Cute cottage. Well stocked kitchen and great deck for bird watching. Good place to stay for access to the Grant Grove area.
Communication was great with the owner. Cabin was very nice, and we enjoyed having our coffee on the deck in the morning and an adult beverage on the deck in the evening. Fun to watch the hummingbirds. One thing which is not the Owner’s fault - the VRBO page is poorly designed and led us to believe there was laundry at the cabin, but there isn’t. But it was fine, we did laundry on the way out in Merced.
We loved being in the country, listening to birds and seeing the night sky.
Awesome experience! Great, kind , informative host! She even loaned us her telescope for star gazing! The bear & rattle snake safety briefing for teenage boys was very helpful as we have neither where we live. Loved the place!
This cozy little cabin is about a 30 minute drive from the Grant Grove in Kings Canyon National Park and though the site feels more rural/agricultural than wilderness it still features a beautiful view and area. The porch is not screened in but still great for enjoying a drink at sunset; and the sunrises are pretty solid too. The interior of the cabin is modest but completely adequate, and the evaporative cooler takes a while to get started but does pump out cold air. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with a variety of equipment but the pots and pans are in pretty bad shape (I'd recommend bringing your own).
The house is very cozy, clean and beautiful inside out. The owner is very nice and helpful. We love it and definitely will stay again.
Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, because this is a little gem. Small but adequate for our group of three. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed the fire pit and the night sky was absolutely amazing! The host is very nice and extremely accomodating. Highly recommended!
The cabin was so cute with amazing views and sunsets! Communication with host was great. Comfortable bed. Had everything we needed for cooking. Loved the front porch. Great water pressure in the shower.
The property was great and the owner was helpful and communicative .
This small home was perfect. The home was very clean and had some amazing views. The location was also perfect. Very close to Kings National Park and Sequoia National Park. Definitely would stay again.
Nice host, great location to King's Canyon. The cabin has very nice decoration and it's overall a good accommodation. The check-in process was king of hard initially due to the misleading information. But eventually the host found us and led us to the property.
Great place to stay! We enjoyed the wildlife and the sunsets are beautiful. Easy drive to King Canyon National Park.
This cabin is cozy and very clean. It had everything we needed for cooking our own meals, keeping our daughter entertained, etc. It is in a good location for visits to both Kings Canyon and Sequioa parks. The owner was very nice and helpful. We actually planned this trip for a year ago, but we had to cancel the day before due to a death in the family. Kim was so kind about the cancellation and we were so happy we could re-book with her for our second attempt.
This cabin was nearly perfect for us! Very close to the entrance to the sequoia national park but far enough away to enjoy total quiet and lots of stars. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable queen bed, and everything worked. For some reason I had trouble getting the directions through Vrbo, and Kimberli went to the extra trouble of making sure I had them. Only problem we had was the bunk bed was a little short for one of the men in our group and the futon was hard and uncomfortable for another man in our group. We brought an air mattress but it didn't stay inflated so that didn't help. Other than that, the cabin was fantastic. Would definitely rent it again!
Our stay was great. Nice and quiet too!
