Robbinsville is a place we visit regularly. We have family in the area and attend Decoration Day. Everything about this listing is accurate, especially the peaceful and secluded setting. Staying at Jimbo's was a delight.
Great old farmhouse on a wonderful property. The pond was superb, with lots of room to explore. Jim was very responsive. Lots of birds and wildlife, minutes from downtown (grocery store, etc.). We used Jimbo's as a base for fishing in the various surrounding lakes. Recommended!
The property is what is advertised. It is a 100 plus year old farm house that has been renovated. Huge kitchen table, dated fixtures, soft floor in spots, but clean. I’m 63 years old and it reminded me of my Grandmother’s house. It rained a good bit during our stay. The front porch was perfectly situated for sitting back and enjoying the rain. We felt comfortable at Jimbo’s farm and will likely return. Don’t expect 5 star amenities and valet parking, expect a more true country mountain experience and you will be pleased.
Enjoyed the fishing pond
My family enjoyed the ambiance of the farmhouse and had a great time fishing in the pond on the property. The weather was perfect.A great place to unwind and relax!
Great week. Enough to do from ages 3-70. Toddler played in the creek and older ones fished/hiked. So peaceful, and restful.
My family enjoyed our time here. The fishing pond was a huge hit with my 11 yr old son. The moon happened to be full and there was an absolutely beautiful view from the front porch, reflecting on the pond. So relaxing, which was just what I needed. Earlier in the evening the lightning bugs were out. Blueberries were ripe for picking and we all enjoyed that too. This is a very beautiful area to explore. We would love to go back again sometime.
Jimbo's farm was just what we needed. we loved it.
Very peaceful place and our dogs loved the property too!
