Sparta, Tennessee
Perfect getaway for couples or small families.
This quaint efficiency cabin sits on 45 acres. Sleeps four people. There is a double bed and a full size futon. This getaway has everything you need and more: one bathroom, microwave oven, small refrigerator, hot plate, kitchen sink, table and chairs, satellite television, small gas grill, fireplace heater, air condition window unit and satellite television with Blu-ray player. Linens, towels, cookware and tableware provided. The property is beautiful with rolling hills and access to Cane Creek.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay while exploring local trails and breweries. The cabin was quiet, cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. We would stay again.
Great place in regards to location of all trails
I really appreciate Cunningham Cabins hosting me for my retreat and my opportunity to rest in the Lord. It was quiet, convenient, cozy, comfortable, and was what I needed.
Loved the cottage- felt a bit disappointed that it’s 17+ miles from Rock Island- thought it was shorter. Overall- it was great and every need was met.
Clean and off the beaten path just like we wanted.
Beautiful and cozy stay !
We love the cabin and we love Kathy! Can’t wait to stay again!!
I came to visit family. I chose this place because it was close to them. I enjoyed the entire experience here and l'm going to miss sitting on the porch listening to the sounds of the wildlife. It was like comming home. Everything was there, all l had to do is pick up a few groceries for myself to prepare. I didn't have to worry about the little things because it was already there, like home. I hope to book again the next time I come out, l look forward to it.
This cabin was excellent. Very clean, very easy to find and away from the noise and hustle and bustle yet close enough to town if we needed anything. Host was very easy to contact and took care of a booking problem pronto. Will stay here again
Sparta is one of our favorite areas. There was a cabin in Spencer that we got engaged at but it is no longer listed, so we found another one in the area and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a tiny cabin and we had zero cell reception but it was perfect. If you need cell service, it might not be the place for you but if you’re ok without it, you’ll love this place. We did!
Very nice quiet and convenient. Enjoyed it very much.
This cabin was perfect for the two of us. The setting is secluded and private with a fire pit, good internet, rocking chairs on the porch, and everything we expected for a comfortable stay. The mattress was firmer than I would have liked, but otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kathy was very helpful and communicative, as well.
Loved the space, location was fantastic, everything we needed was there. Only downside was the very bright pole light behind the cabin that is on a timer. We were able to turn our chairs and face the other way to enjoy our fire, but it was definitely brighter than we’d have liked because we are nighttime outdoor people.
My husband, two children, and dog, and I stayed at this cozy one room cabin. It was centrally located within 20 minute driving distance of some of Tennessee’s best parks. This cabin fit our needs and allowed us to have a quiet and comfortable nights sleep, and a fire under the stars as well. I highly recommend if you want simple and cozy accommodations in a great location.
This was a great little place for a quiet weekend getaway for me and my partner. We wanted a chance to chill out and spend time together, and this cabin had everything we needed. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen, had plenty of warm beverages, and really enjoyed the big TV (there was a serious movie marathon). When we did have a little hiccup with the cabin, the property owner was prompt and responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.
Back again, two years in a row, to stay here for another month. Just as lovely as it was last time. Significant improvements as well with a new Roku TV and brand new sheets on the bed. They had the heat turned on a few hours before we got here as well, so it was toasty. The new Keurig machine is a nice touch, and the few minor kitchen things I added last year are still here to use. My little fluffy guy is ecstatic as well, as he has this vast big yard of 40 acres to explore and play in, sun himself on the front deck, and frolic in the leaves. Such a lovely feeling to sit in the rocking chairs in the morning sun, sipping on coffee or tea.
I will definitely stay here again!
