Wifi did not work. The code was wrong or not related to the system. TV was not cable but that horrible streaming where you cant get any normal network programming. Floors did not match. Kitchen light switch was hidden. No TP holder in bathroom. Shower faucet was falling off and hard to adjust. Building seemed to be coming apart. View was not very good despite the pictures. Driveway was rutted and poor condition as was the street in front. Really a terrible experience. We have photos.

We are covered with flea bites and the owner won’t pay for the doctor appointment or discomfort. Don’t stay here

The cabin was super cozy nestled in very cool little community. It snowed the night we were there. Just enough to make everything look more amazing. We loved it. The host was very kind and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is very clean, cozy, and private. It is across the lane from the lake. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable. The cabin had all the basic supplies we needed. If you arrive after dark, be very careful on the rock road leading up to the cabin. It has a lot of ruts. The only less than excellent thing was the water. It had a very metallic smell. We were visiting for our 25th wedding anniversary but would love to come back with our kids. Also, if your GPS routes you to the Tail of the Dragon, do not take it if you get motion sick!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful and very relaxing time at the lake house. This was our second time staying at the lake house and we will be back again. This place is so clean, comfortable and it has everything you could need. We love going out exploring the lake in the kayaks and course the fishing is really good too! Thanks again Donna, for allowing us to stay at your place and for being such a wonderful host!

Awesome time exploring Lake Santeelah and Fontana Lake. My grandfather grew up in Robbinsville and being up here brings me back to my chikdhood coming up here with him and my family. Just an amazing time. The charcoaled steaks were a bonus!

Good- Great view of Lake from Upper Deck, Kayaks provided and good lake Access, Great star gazing, AC works great Bad & The Ugly- House is surrounded by 3 abandoned properties, old RV, a junky lot and a dilapidated Barge in the water, the outside of the property needs some TLC, dish washing and paper supplies were sparse

Life has been extremely busy and painful this year. Getting away to the mountains and having a place to just rest, relax, and have fun with family was wonderful. This was our second time to stay here and we do plan on coming back!

This is a cozy cottage with some views of the lake, but there are a couple of other houses between the cottage and the lake. The highway is very close and the location is between the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway, two motorcycle bucket list roads, so the noise is a regular part of the atmosphere. Some of the nearby properties have messy yards that the owner probably cannot help. There were some nice touches to items furnished for comfort, but also some sparseness.. For example, only two dinner plates, only salad forks that were smaller than usual to eat with, no can opener, the grate that holds the charcoal in the grill is missing and there are no appropriate tools for grilling or lighter to light the charcoal. The property could use some maintenance such as power washing the porch and deck and washing of the windows. It's definitely an older structure, but considering the cost of other houses in the area, this place gives good value for the price. With a few additions and a little elbow grease, it could be awesome.
