Indian Trace | Hocking Hills, Near Rock House

My family and I were looking for a nice place to relax and boy, did we find it! The cabin was beautifully appointed. My son loved having his own upstairs bedroom. The outside was just as inviting. The porch swing and rocking chair were awesome. Our favorite part was singing around the fire pit listening to the sounds of nature. Very little traffic goes up that road. I was able to hold a Teams meeting for work, which I typically cannot do from that area. The only 2 drawbacks were that the hot tub is a little older - but it worked great! - and there is a cardinal that frequents the back porch and left some bird mess on the patio chairs. Neither of these things were a big enough bother to stop us from having 5 glorious days of quiet, relaxation and family time.

Our 7th time at Indian Trace over the last 5 years.we love it there. It’s home away from home. Quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Floor to ceiling fireplace is unreal. Highly recommend. We will book again later this year.

We liked the fireplace, the loft bedroom and the hot tub

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very comfortable and relatively secluded. We regret at booking that the website said there was a jet bathtub. . .there was not, but the owner made it right for us. We enjoyed the hot tub and found a way to watch Ohio State beat Xichigan. . .Go Bucks!! We had everything we needed. Wish the main room was more private as it is an open loft, but it was very comfortable. More lighting on the property would be helpful for letting pets outside at night. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Being close to hikes and the cozy cabin. Too many tv remotes for this old guy.

I loved everything there was 1 light in the loft that I couldn’t figure out how to turn off lol had to unplug it from downstairs even tho the light was upstairs the hot tub was great it said it was at 104 degrees it wasn’t that hot but was definitely great temperature

Wonderful. Property was clean well stocked and private. Really cool features and decor. Hot tub felt great after exploring the great sites!!

Location, privacy, cleanliness

Very nice cabin with seclusion and very nice surrounding property. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. It is quite a comfortable place.

Cabin overall is nice for a couple or small family. Probably wouldn’t do with another couple due to the loft and lack of privacy. Nice property with all the amenities needed. Few small issues like 1 steak knife and front door deadbolt is tricky to get key into. Nice places for a few days in HH.

Nice cabin in a good location. Only 1 steak knife, but 5 wine openers. The windows are so small in the living/dinning room area that you need lights on during the day. AC blows cold and fast. Open loft concept good for 2 people or small family. Do hear cars drive by but the road isn’t heavily traveled. Would rent again

Hot tube

All I wanted for my birthday was to be surrounded by trees, this place will definitely be a reoccurring visit! So serene and beautiful.

Great cozy secluded place, very close to all the attractions, highly recommend.
