Stayed Mar 1, 2025Let’s start with the best parts of this property!! And there are so many!!! The location is absolutely perfect if you are skiing Northstar. It’s a quick drive to the resort, or if you chose to use the shuttle, it’s on the shuttle route. The house is so well set up with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. The game room is HEAVEN for kids and the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing. My only recommendation would be for the cleaning company to leave more wash cloths as we had only 2 for our group of 7 people. Sadly, the drain in the only bathtub did not hold water, which was a little disappointing after a long day of skiing and wanting to just relax in a bath. And the coffee pot malfunctions as well. Other than these small little issues, we absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this property to future guests.

Stayed Feb 16, 2024Many thanks to Avant Stay and the property owners for making our Tahoe get away so lovely. Great property for a family trip- loved the decor, Fusbal, great bedrooms. The Atari was AMAZING and a part of my youth I could share with my kids. Thanks for sharing your home.

Stayed Feb 21, 2024My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Dakine Haus near the Northstar resort. The house was clean and well stocked with many activities which the kids enjoyed from foosball to video games. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but also very convenient to the Northstar resort for the kids skiing or if we wanted to get to a restaurant. The house overall was very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Stayed Jan 27, 2024Our family of four (two teen girls) took a long weekend in Northstar. Dakine Haus was clean and well-stocked, with great instructions from the property management firm as well as the owners. Some extra details that we appreciated: House slippers for all in the mud room (such a great idea), boot/glove dryers, movie area w/ original Atari :) The house also has passes to the HOA Rec Center (the daily fee for visitors is $10). We will definitely consider staying again. :) P.S. January 2024: There is a local school fundraiser offering lift tix at a discount. Tickets can be purchased in person at Tahoe Dave's. We called on the way up and they set aside four passes for us to pick up on the way. $159/ea
