This cabin borders the Bighorn National Forest with walking access to Elk Hunt Area 35 and a short drive to Area 36. Easy access to snowshoeing, Xcountry skiing, stream fishing right off the porch, and four wheeling. Relax on the porch overlooking North Clear Creek after a long day in the mountains. We named it the Hunter's Cabin, because it has all the modern comforts, but NO indoor plumbing, just an outhouse.

Stayed Sep 16, 2025Cabin was nicer than expected. Clean, cozy, and well decorated, with lots of little extras. Good starting spot to explore the area. Loved the thoughtfulness of the host with all the care put into making the stay there enjoyable. Our dog was welcome, even had poop bags available. Would recommend and plan to stay again.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025Went for a weekend getaway. Scenery was beautiful. We had a small creek by our cabin. Lots of trails for four wheeling will definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jun 22, 2024Very nice property. Throw back to days gone buy. Real out house, no indoor plumbing, woodburning stove. But a few modern items like electric heat and lights,fridge, microwave and a glacier bay water machine serving up cold and hot water. I would recommend an outdoor table for cooking, relaxing and eating.
